Card Clarification
- A random spell from your deck is revealed. Reveal indicates your opponent will see it.
- A random minion is summoned with the same cost as the revealed spell. This works like Forbidden Shaping

Compared to Faceless Summoner you have the chance to high roll a larger minion, however you are giving information to your opponent. Yeah you can build a deck where the outcome will always be in your favor, but depending on what your giving up that may hurt the quality of your deck in the long run. I honestly don't think this will see play, but I'm excited to see what players come up with when the full set arrives. Who knows I can be completely wrong and only time will tell.
Yeah you give your opponent information but if your playing latter with meta decks he will know anyway
So that isnt the main problem.i think it will see play in control decks some maybe mage and priest cause it suits them just fine they put a minion on board and get another while keeping there spells for important situations
I think it would be played but just in a 2-4 deck types
And your not destroying your 6 mana play cause your often cause of this have a very largee cost minion with him on board and gaining some stabilty it will be played in mine opinion :D ;)
That's not the only information he can get though. Maybe this card reveals a Flamestrike after you've already played one, then your opponent knows you probably won't have a Flamestrike in your hand, so he starts swarming the board. Information can mean more than what deck you're playing, and if you know the right kinds of information, it could be game winning for you.
But yeah, definitely a good card since you only need to pull 2/2 worth of stats to break even on value out of this minion.
by T6 your opponent should already know what deck you're playing and which cards remain
this card would have been great if it was a random card from your deck , still pretty good in current state .
I think it's actually better this way. Let's say you only put big spells in your deck (I can see druids doing that), you only get big ass minions out of it.
some zoo warlock with doom and twisting neither in going full draw and rushing before he fatigues himself , 10 and 8 mana minions are useful , this is better than bone mare stat wise its just that bone mare basically has 4-4 charge, this thing is 1 less stat for one less mana but +8 or 10 drop , its interesting to say the least .
It's cards like these that inspire nonsense. It's a card that isn't a win condition, but people build their deck around it anyways.
But Corpsetaker works in this sense
This card could create a new Deck type. Very interesting getting 10 mana minions at turn 6. Instead of a big minion deck it would be a Big Spell Deck.
play zoolock, put only Doom as spell.
lol
Oh looks.. a double RNG card. I definitely won't get tilted from playing against this.
Medivh synergy? But I guess this requires not just some big spells but mostly big spells.
Skulking Geist to get rid of your left over early game removal tools, maybe?
Hemet, Jungle Hunter is better for that, but you might lose your secrets as mage and some important minions as priest.
Hemet
Do we get to pick the spell?
By the way it is worded I would say no, as it would probably say discover if you could. I guess the idea is to not include low cost spells (or make sure you have none in the deck by the time you play this) to ensure value.
Yep a dev confirmed this https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/7em0no/kc_new_neutral_epic_card_revealed_by_esporte/dq5x83o/
It's probably like the Grand Tournament cards. so no.
Nope it says reveal so it will be random
sorry :D
