Ashes of Outland Meta Decks - Pro's Edition
With a new season it was time to see what decklists the pro's are playing and apparently even the pros are looking for something other than DH to play, because we did not find a single DH list in our search this time. Which suits us, because the main DH Tempo list has not seen much of any change anyway and we were hoping to show some deck innovations and techs for the new season. Here's what we found:
Mage
Let's start with an outburst of Mage decks. Mage seems popular among the pro's! It is 2 variations of Highlander Mage with nearly indentical lists except for 2 tech choices: FenoHS has gone with an Acidic Swamp Ooze and BoarControl has gone with Overconfident Orc. The aim for both seems to be to put a stop to aggression, so pick whichever you feel is the better choice for your Meta.

Priest
A curious situation. Both Zeddy and XiaoT played Galakrond Priest, both credit Moyen_HS, but both ended up with different lists! Much like at the Mage lists, one list includes Acidic Swamp Ooze and one goes a different direction, in this case including Wild Pyromancer. XiaoT hit Rank no. 1 Legend with his variation, so take that for what you will.

Rogue
This J.Alexander Rogue list was tweeted out, with the message "Attempting to brainstorm something that performs better against Warrior without losing much of an edge against DH". That intent seems to have gone fairly well given as he hit Rank no. 28 Legend with this list.

Warlock
BoarControl didn't just play Mage, he played some Warlock too. He went on an 18-5 run, and reached up to Legend no. 45 Rank with this Galakrond Warlock deck that employs the old Lackey Package, inlcuding Dark Pharaoh Tekahn.

Warrior
We have no less than 3 different Warrior lists here. All based on the same theme, but with subtle but important differences. First we have noblord with the "classic" Risky Skipper list, and then lists from Nagon and NoHandsGamer who both include Grommash Hellscream but cut very different cards for it, with different implications. Nagon cut a Kor'kron Elite effectively changing out one finisher for a different one, while NoHandsGamer swapped it for Teron Gorefiend removing a very distinct part of the classic list to load up on even more face damage.

No innovation showed in this post, those Mage and Warrior lists are from last season. Acidic swamp ooze addition is not an innovation.
Better show how another classes are doing, more posts with marginal lists than meta.
Mages and Warriors decks are very similar only little change so imho there is better put also another classes instead posting 3 version of Warriors with only 1 card different.
Trouble is the goal of this post was two-fold: 1) deck must be used by a pro player, preferably someone the general public has heard of. 2) The deck was played to get high(er) ranking, with a preference for top 100 legend.
If you wanted deck lists that don't meet those 2 categories, and want to see classes that are not represented here, then I'd suggest checking out our Grandmasters decklists from this week-end, where we had what were probably the best decks that are not the standard top meta decks.
That post had decks for Hunter, Druid, Paladin, Shaman.
