Getting Dirty with the Grimy Goons - Our Favourite Grimy Goons Decks
Them be fightin' words! Surely not every member of the Grimy Goons is going to be happy, but everyone must have their favourites. We're in a very fortunate position as we can hide behind our keyboards and go through plenty of proxies so we can't be backtraced by those goons.
The Grimy Goons theme involves interaction with your hand. They like to catch their opponents off guard and get as much value as possible. With that said though, we've got a long way to go as the archetypes have not yet been really fully fleshed out yet. The decks are typically slower than some of the other stuff we're seeing out of the other families which isn't very positive.
With that said, we've still got some great decks you should check out to experiment with the goons! Check them out below and head on over to their deck guides if you wan to learn more.
If you're playing something else with that Grimy Goons flavour, share a link to your list in the comments, and even better, write a deck guide to teach people how to play your creation!
Aggro Buff Hunter
This deck goes with a beast synergy hand buff rather than global. Trogg Beastrager, Smuggler's Crate, and Shaky Zipgunner is how you'll be buffing.

Grimestreet Buffadin
This one is a fun deck, though it may not get you to legend. Plenty of card draw to get a nice big hand to buff through your hand-buffing minions and spells.

Buff Taunt Warrior
One could say, I Know a Guy. The improvements to Taunt Warrior through Gadgetzan have been incredible.

only a player with MY intellect can play this patrician gentlesir class,.. *tips fedora*
why are rogue players like this
The wording might have been bad, but the general idea is that Rogue is strong as it is now. It can win games by skill and proper deckbuilding, and not brainless OP'ness (take Midrange Shaman, where you can easily misplay and still win when playing outright bad). I was thinking about Rogue heal yesterday and it came to me, that if Rogue got something like Jinyu Waterspeaker, it would be just broken.
tl;dr - Rogue is good, but requires skill. Buff Rogue too much and it's unstoppable and cancerdeckers will flood the ladder, because it wouldn't need skill anymore.
I'm surprised that hunter is performing so badly in this meta. I considered hunter as one of those classes that could never be bad because, you know, the face will always be the place if everything else fails.
Maybe it will change after the meta has stabilized.
Hunter has no way of dealing with such big taunts and powerful curves that the game got.
Doesn't matter if your minions have tokes on deathrattle, they will never get through the massive Warrior and Druid taunts.
You can also not stabilize well against aggro if you don't get on the board first.
Your taunts are only secrets or need to already have beast on board to place it.
Add the fact that hunter has no card draw and you get a fast deck that is neither fast enough to deal with so much removal and big things on the game, running out of steam early and also is too slow to compete with the Pirate decks out there.
As long as they don't give hunter more removal/heals/card draw and keep focusing on just vomiting minions on board and praying to god that they stick, hunter will never survive this meta.
stop show to my oponents how many creatures i have im my hand every time i buff, for god´s sake, this is so unfair
it is too easy for the opponent read and counter my game
Grimy Goons are so Bad ... Super Slow
It's a shame it takes so long to collect epics. The Grimy Goons don't seem too bad, but they are the most expensive of the 3 gangs.
Opened 100 MSG packs so far and still no Rat Pack, Meanstreet Marshal, and Small-Time Recruits.
Its becasuse I dont undertand why the people is agree with pay $100, and yet dont have full Collection. Is really frustrating get cards and card duplicates, is like burn money.
I always get too many of the same epic. Last time it was 4 Blade of C'thuns. This time it's 5 Rat Packs.
I opened 80 packs 2 days ago and got one of each, and 2 Meanstreet Marshal. And I already had 2 of them! I made around 4k dust at least
Grimy goons in a meta of board clears. Elegiggle
besides the buff minions and jade decks i think that aggro decks its the most value in this expansion
New faction PogChamp
Hunter is just a bad aggro, compared to pirates (maybe the only deck it can actually be good against with a good hand), others just lose so hard to Kabal and Lotus, trying to control the Controllers.
And why the hell is there Rafaam in Warrior deck? If he sucks a buff - you have no use of it. Thijs was playing Soggoth in that place - much better idea.
How is he a finisher? Rag is a finisher. Leeroy is a finisher. Grommash is a great finisher for Warriors. They do instant damage and finish your opponent off. How Rafaam is a finisher in any sense?
According to your logic: you pick 10/10 buff - opponent plays a taunt - Rafaam is not a finisher now. What the hell is this logic? Problem with Rafaam as a card itself - it's too slow and too situational. It can't be a finisher for those reasons. "If opponent can't clear your board" - just listen to yourself!!! It's not a finisher then - it's a win-more card. You like from another planet, man.
The way you win tempo game is not going tempo-tempo-tempo and then slowing down, putting Rafaam and stuff... All cards I mentioned, do something on the same turn, they are played. That's why they are finishers in tempo-driven game. Rafaam takes 2 turns to make value. 2 turns. On 9 and 10 mana. Some decks will kill you 3 times in that time, not to mention your Tiger, who waits all that time in the bushes. Or you plan to wait till 9th round, play Rafaam, choose a buff, then play Tiger on turn 10 and buff him on 11th?? Dude, that's not a finisher. That not even "pretty good" - it's a big wide dream. You can do that - I make all kind of wacky decks all the time, but I don't call them "pretty good" - most of them will have below 45% win-rate and so is your plan with Rafaam. He's just out of the meta - I'm not forcing you to hate a card - you can love it, as much as you can, but PLEASE never advice anyone to play it or craft it - it will be a huge misguidance.
is it to late to rework the cost of don hancho? also if he had a death rattle effect maybe? Like when he dies buff another minion +3/+3 or something along those lines. he is a don and all he does is this? i think thats what makes it hard for these decks to compete. is there don is a weak boss.
He saved me lots of times with 16/14 Argent Commander, or a 12/11 Argent Horserider. And today with a 21/21 Ragnaros, Lightlord. But he is missing something. maybe give a 6/6 or make him a 6 cost!
