Dumbasses I keep running into in Ragnaros' Fire Festival Tavern Brawl that don't know how to play it this week.

They keep going for my face or killing my minions.

All I can do is spam "oops" or "well played" or play out the game and hope they get a clue.

Sure, some are working on quests, but the rest?

Not working; maybe the AI changed as some others have noted. 

If you play Shieldbearer on turn one as you suggest, he plays Deathcharger on turn 2 and, along with Fen Creeper, destroys the Shieldbearer. So that theory no longer works. 

Basically, whatever minions I had down there on the board got attacked and killed by his minions. Tried playing Crazed Alchemist on Turn 2 on his Spore to buff Crazed Alchemist and set up to kill Fen Creeper. Once again, my minion got attacked by both his Fen Creeper and his Deathcharger. 

Finally on Turn 3 I drew Shadow Word: Pain to kill his Fen Creeper, but it brings little relief as he immediately plops down Shade of Naxxramas and I am left with 14 health. 

Tried this deck a few times and never worked or came close to working.

Hope someone will develop a new way to beat this boss, since Blizzard must have tweaked the AI.

Wow. I couldn't believe my luck. After reading your guide and watching your YouTube video, I was terrified of this guy, haha. Somehow through the luck of the RNG gods I managed to beat him on the first try. Alexstrasza healed me, also! I got down to one health at one point! Plus he milled me and I lost one of my Priest of the Feast so I was not feeling confident.

All I can say is, thank you, thank you. You worked hard on this deck and made it consistent enough that I managed to win with it. I saw you lost to him a couple of times in your "play to win five" video and I was sure I was going down that path especially when I got to one health. Then I started buffing things when I still had a Doomsayer and a Lightbomb in my hand and thought, "I'm doing it wrong." But it still worked out somehow. 

I only had one Boneguard Lieutenant so I substituted an Acidic Swamp Ooze, mostly because in your matches I watched on YouTube he seemed to mostly get killed right away anyway. I planned on crafting him later if I needed him. Acidic Swamp Ooze had the same three attack so could at least kill an unbuffed Chromatic Dragonkin in a pinch.

Hozen Healer was an MVP for sure!

Hey guys, this is the older deck for this hero by neonangel, but he has a newer deck with video guide that works great on this hero.

All of neonangel's heroic decks with video guides show him playing to five wins and they have all worked great for me.  They have both a detailed written guide along with the video to five wins.

I like that he keeps updated decks for all the heroics so that when new cards are released that is factored in to any deck changes.

I have not tried this deck; I have only tried his most recent decks with video guides so I cannot comment specifically on this one.

I got wrecked on my first attempt but got him on the second. 

So I was amazed, because I am not as skilled a player as you (I watched the video of you piloting this deck) and I thought, I can never do that. 

He got me on the first try with the Bloodlust and a board full of minions but on the second time I managed to get him. His Hungry Dragon was even kind enough to spawn a Dust Devil for me, which came in handy killing eggs.  I tried and failed to steal an egg, but did get his Hungry Dragon. 

I didn't have Argent Lance and wanted to see if I could get by without crafting it, so I subbed in one Coghammer and one Rallying Blade. Rallying Blade ended up pairing nicely with Seal of Champions, which I used on a Mind Control Tech with Rallying Blade and buffed it to a 7/4. 

I played this matchon my old iPad, and tried to take screenshots of the killshot, but due to lag only managed the set-up shot and right when I hit him, ha.

Thank you for this deck! This one took me four or five tries to get the hang of it, but then I got him. :D

He was a bit trickier for me than some of the other bosses for some reason, but thanks to your video and guide, he is dead!

I found sometimes if I played Lightwell on turn two that his minions would kill it. Same for playing Northshire Cleric on turn one. Explosive Sheep was awesome on turn 2 as you said, great board clear!

I could tell this one would definitely work from watching your video, since you play these bosses straight through until you reach at least five wins.  Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound seems vital to this deck for consistency in winning. I didn't want to craft him, so ended up using a Majordomo Priest deck and somehow got lucky and beat him. 

This is the more sound deck idea though, as after I beat him I have been unable to replicate my results, while yours can be replicated as you show in your video.

I had all the other legendaries, but wasn't quite ready to spend the dust on Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound although I may still -- pardon the pun -- "bite the dust" one day and craft him. :)

I only had one Dreadsteed, and, not wanting to use the dust to craft a second one -- but feeling like, since it is such a key part of this deck, that I needed to overcompensate -- made a few changes.

-1 Dreadsteed

-2 Harvest Golem

-1 Possessed Villager

+2 Devilsaur Egg

+2 Eggnapper

Maybe I overcompensated for only having one Dreadsteed :D

This version might not be as stable as yours -- did not do five wins like you do in your videos so I did not test it -- luckily I managed to beat him on first try.

Patience is key!

I only had one Sea Giant, so I substituted one Arcane Giant and that worked pretty well since there are so many spells in the deck. :)

Deck is trash if you don't get god like drawing

EDIT: this deck is so luck based, if you don't draw perfect cards literally each turn just concede, I have been trying for the past 15 minutes because i have been drawing horribly

25+ tries with this deck and still no win. I give the fuck up with this shit

A dozen tries and still not working. Need amazing RNG to be viable therefore it isn't.  Waste of dust...

Works very well. Very easy to follow, not noticeably draw/RNG dependant. Highly Recommend.
