Fight fire with fire. I suggest a Dragon Warrior deck with the Archivist chick, and make sure you put in a brewmaster or baleful banker because now other Warriors are running that card as well.
That is what I've been doing since the start of the expansion. It's a very hard pilot, even slight miscalculations in when you should use a card can be very punishing, but I have done well. The two main issues are the games are very long, and tend to be rather close against well built decks. Still working out kinks, but only 3 losses up to rank 4 standard.
I will try this bloodlust deck as I got electra in packs and wanted to try her out. double buffs sound savage. I don't have kalimos though. you reckon the deck would not be as good without that card?
Kalimos is really only there to be extra removal for spreading plague and longer midrange vs midrange battles. You already have 2x Lightning Storm so it shouldn't hurt too bad as long as you replace it with one sided removal or a high impact card late curve card.
Since a lot of people try slower new decks at the start of the expansion, I just go for dumb decks that are easy to steal wins with.
This is one that I rocked today in standard legend for easy games since nobody is doing Electra Stormsurge into Bloodlust calculations correctly. Hell, I ran into people not calculating normal Bloodlust damage properly. Play it now because once people go back to wanting to win I think this will perform a lot worse.
I understand the full upside of playing memes and having fun, but there are a few big problems that I have with this. You need to draw 3/30 cards to get there before your opponent kills you. Yes you have a lot of card draw, but so does Quest Mage and look at how fast they die to aggro and they get 2+free turns in most matches right now. You also get burned by an opponent's Skulking Geist if this style of deck takes off. Also if you are playing low on the ladder you get to face everybody's favorite class Hunter with Deathstalker Rexxar which frankly will just out value you after the deck swap.
But those aren't even the biggest problem. If you have played Explore Un'Goro at any point you would be reminded how bad nearly all Warrior class cards are when you can't reliably attain their synergy cards. And since Class cards show up more often than neutral ones you kind of get screwed by RNG a lot. If you want a comparison, Paladin is the second least played class in Hearthstone and they have almost twice the amount of cards that at least okay discoveries on their own. So if you face someone that doesn't swap decks back allowing you to blow them up, and they have any way to generate value from their hand or the cards you have given, you will most likely lose the game.
If you want to meme and still post a decent win rate you have to make sure your meme has a way to fight hard when things don't go as planned, I don't see where the fight comes from with this gameplan.
On my first run I was able to draft an insanely strong Mage+Druid combo deck, but faced the Priest DK 9 games in a row to end the run at 6-3. I guess if Priest combos can score their DK with that frequency we should all be trying to go for them. And no, that is not an exaggeration. I started doing my best to play around it after the 3rd game and that is probably the only reason I got to 6 wins.
im interested to see you beast version can u make it for us ? :D
You'll get a 2-for-1. First the "Beast" one which does okay vs aggro decks because it is built as a solid mid-range deck first. You have enough taunts and decent sized mid range bodies to bleed aggro decks of resources and take over the game later. Against aggro you also probably want to toss quest for the extra chance to draw early game cards.
This one in case you really hated Priest is here. The large minions of this deck are selected because they are hard to priest to clear outside of Shadowreaper Anduin. Also if they ever disrespect your board you have Alexstrasza. I know you didn't ask for this list, but it furthers the point I have tried to make that it is not hard to find/make much stronger lists.
You frankly can make a better version of this list with Beasts instead of the legionaries and "tech" cards they included with this list. But if your focus is on climbing save the dust to use in the next expansion so you have a leg up at the start of the expansion.
Why would someone upvote for a guide when the guide adds nothing to the deck? You don't really gain any knowledge on how to play the deck from only talking about cards at the base level. A guide should talk about in-depth knowledge gained from playing the deck, not something anyone can determine by looking at a list.
My goal is not hate; it is to try and improve on how people view the game. If someone is truly having trouble making this archetype happen, I think this would actually make it a lot harder for them. You have no early anti-aggro tools, inconsistent ramp and draw, and some very weird card choices that don't add much to the deck in place of cards that smooth out those problems.

If they have the resources to waste, they can do what they want. To me in general gold cards are a waste, I rather fill out my collection.

A deck that I think is good, but still needs the kinks ironed out is this. Performed rather well for what feels like a meme.

I don't know if you guys caught it, but I think the new Druid weapon will be "Horn of Cenarius". You can see the card in the Druid dungeon list.
