Even Quest pally deals with Murloc Pally rather easily if you put a couple AoEs in. Murloc Pally needs to high roll once in getting tip the scales fast and another time by having their opponent not have an answer when only Hunter and Rogue struggle with one.
Fight fire with fire. I suggest a Dragon Warrior deck with the Archivist chick, and make sure you put in a brewmaster or baleful banker because now other Warriors are running that card as well.
That is what I've been doing since the start of the expansion. It's a very hard pilot, even slight miscalculations in when you should use a card can be very punishing, but I have done well. The two main issues are the games are very long, and tend to be rather close against well built decks. Still working out kinks, but only 3 losses up to rank 4 standard.
I will try this bloodlust deck as I got electra in packs and wanted to try her out. double buffs sound savage. I don't have kalimos though. you reckon the deck would not be as good without that card?
Kalimos is really only there to be extra removal for spreading plague and longer midrange vs midrange battles. You already have 2x Lightning Storm so it shouldn't hurt too bad as long as you replace it with one sided removal or a high impact card late curve card.
Golden Whizbang the Wonderful was dusted when I pulled him on my main to craft Electra Stormsurge. If I got it in the non-golden form I would have just kept it to not open it again, but there really isn't a dust loss when dusting a golden legendary if you don't like golden cards.
All Murmuring Elemental + Electra Stormsurge does is replace it's own battlecry, not double it. A "Your next "card" does "blank"" effect is a specific queued command that can not multiplied and only replaced. It is the same reason Murmuring Elemental->Murmuring Elemental->"battlecry" does not trigger 4x.
Since a lot of people try slower new decks at the start of the expansion, I just go for dumb decks that are easy to steal wins with.
This is one that I rocked today in standard legend for easy games since nobody is doing Electra Stormsurge into Bloodlust calculations correctly. Hell, I ran into people not calculating normal Bloodlust damage properly. Play it now because once people go back to wanting to win I think this will perform a lot worse.
I think this card sits in a grey area. If there is a stupid spell in standard that you want more of that costs 5 or more after the next rotation, this card could be everywhere in that class. It also a pretty decent arena card if there is any insane spell to pick up off this that would help the deck you have built.
Silence and transform removal are already everywhere in both the wild and standard meta. You need to kill it the turn it is played while having an empty deck and the final 2 cards being this and your removal spell. Can it happen? Sure, but you will lose a lot more games with this strategy than you'd win.
It will be a fun synergy, but not a very strong one in wild. Hobgoblin is just too slow as an aggro strategy and not strong enough as a mid range strategy to build a deck around. It could be a fun deck to get you to 15 or slightly higher, but you will struggle vs the current and future T1 and T2 decks in the wild meta.
The most fun I have had with Archmage Arugal is the deck below. Nothing that I have tried so far with him in wild is really viable because of the relative power level of Paladin, Big Priest and Warlock; I just play them for fun. For cheaper decks to play around with Arugal try Elementals, Mech Mage, Hobgoblin Mage (my smurf hit rank 12 wild with this) or Murlocs. Just don't expect any of them to get much higher than 50% over many games played unless you get lucky.
Odd Mage isn't that big of a stretch for wild in which you can make a deck like this. I wouldn't craft Baku, but if I opened it I would try something like this out since it could work. And I am sure there will be at least one version of "Odd Hunter" in wild.
The single strongest card on its own will be Lady in White because it has the most value of any card in the set. If you already have a good, non-resurrect, minion based priest deck, this slots in and makes it a lot stronger both in Standard and Wild. So far I think it is the most undervalued card in the set, but I will admit finding win conditions with that kind of priest deck can be hard if this is the bottom card in your deck.
Now for the card I hate the design of the most, Rebuke. Minion based board wipes will have to be put into every deck or you may end up losing every game to Paladin.
If you can build a good control deck around it, Shudderwock is the third strongest in my opinion. There are a lot of OTK and infinite value possibilities, but getting to that point in the game can be tricky with Shaman. I think this card is great and has the possibility to do insane things while being fun to experiment with, I just don't see it being the best right now.
The card no one will see coming is Archmage Arugal. I can't wait until I see people raging over this because of interactions with Book of Specters or other draw cards in a minion heavy mage deck like Mech Mage.
And finally Nightmare Amalgam will be seen in every tribal deck until Blizzard increases it's cost to 4 in a balance patch before next expansion. It will be sad because I don't think the card in itself is OP; I just know Blizzard doesn't like seeing cards being adopted at that level of playrate.
I know the OP asking for a prediction for 1 card, but as others have done, I wanted to explain what I think the strong cards in the set will be and how they will play out in the meta.
question guys. Baku says at the beginning of the game upgrade your hero power. So when you turn into jaina will it stay upgraded?
No. It is a different hero power. Basically you get the Justicar effect at the start of the game and once you use your hero card, it will change to hero card's hero power like it would if you played a hero card after Justicar.

If they have the resources to waste, they can do what they want. To me in general gold cards are a waste, I rather fill out my collection.

A deck that I think is good, but still needs the kinks ironed out is this. Performed rather well for what feels like a meme.
