posted a message on Shaman, Warrior And Mage Are Dead Classes?

Odd Warrior is legit, Even and Midrange Shaman are both solid decks I would argue Mage is the 2nd weakest class overall though after Priest. I mean ofc you can still win with tempo Mage but it's nothing that great in terms of overall winrate.

For me it's Power of the Wild the card has always looked so dull and out of place with the rest of the Druid card's colour palettes.

posted a message on [5 to legend] 40% of ladder is Warlock. Where is meta going?

I think Control Warlock is actually pretty balanced atm, sure it has great clears and Gul'dan but you can out value them with Control/Recruit Warrior, Quest Priest and even Big Spell Mage. Those matchups do often just come down to who gets the DK first (less so with Warrior and Priest).

Zoo on the other hand got a massive boost from the expansion with Soul Infusion and Doubling Imp , these cards along with Fungalmancer makes damage based clears much less useful and so gives them a bigger edge vs control. Soul Infusion in particular allows them to pump out stats too fast for the defensive tools to handle or allows rather large burst damage from hand.

Still the age of old problem of how to mulligan vs Warlock, you can either get punished by mountain giants or punished by not having early removal/AoE.

As Shudderwock your best bet is to play it early as possible (ideally without Grumble) vs this deck and try to win with the help of random Hagatha cards (Maybe even tech in Elise for the value). It's possible, but you have to know they are running this deck at the start, and whoever draws Hagatha or Boom early will make a big difference.

I think also Shudderwocks will run Elementary Reaction which can also help on the value side of things.

Bomb Lobber got played in Control Warrior. This is a Bomb Lobber thats better against aggro.

The last thing Warrior needs is help vs aggro, they are literally the best class at beating aggro decks.

It can make Kalimos, Primal Lord better with his mini elemental option. I mean I'm not sure how many board fill cards you want in your deck, Onyxia ? Primalfin Totem has also been mentioned by others and I think that is a reasonable standalone card. However it will become some kind of value Shaman deck and we all know how well those do in the meta :S

Hmmmm, well I don't see it being competitive, but it can sure be fun. I do think it should be a bit cheaper since the effect is not particularly good for it's cost.

This, Mecha'thun + Dark Pact I prefer it over the Druid version with Naturalize because Warlock has very consistent board clears to meet the empty battlefield condition.

Am I reading this wrong? it goes back into your deck right? So it prevents fatigue unless it's silenced.
Altho actually i'm guessing if you have no minions left in your deck it just dies and nothing happens. So yeh it's pretty bad.

It doesn't go back into the deck though, swap is like with Madam Goya so there has to be another minion in your deck for it to do anything. If it dies with no minions left in deck then it can't swap and doesn't do anything.

Its an unkillable 5/5 when used with baleful banker.

Edit: it will always shuffle back in your deck so you cant lose to fatigue

It might swap a few times, but you can still draw out your deck - you only add 1 card with baleful.

Quite a few of the combos get countered by Skulking Geist. You can run a combo involving Twig, Voodoo doll and Wrath that does get around it but that depends how much weapon removal is being played.

You could play this with the new Shaman card, and leave with the choice of killing it or giving you a 10/10, in Wild we have Ancestor's Call then you can use Reincarnate as your last card. Emperor Thaurissan opens it up a lot more - such as Dark Pact in Warlock or Shield Slam in Warrior, hell even Hunter's can do it with Hunter's Mark and Arcane Shot if mana is reduced, but Hunter has really bad card draw.

Unforunately it seems best with Druid in standard with Innervate and Naturalize (and the abundant card draw) Druid just seems to get all the combo enablers this expansion. It can work with Priest spellstone as well, although you might as well play Velen combo Priest at that point.

Kinda bad if you have to play it on curve, obviously good in later turns. Could put Zap! in your deck depending how aggressive the meta is. Elemental Shaman still needs more to make it a real contender, and Overload Shaman is even worse atm.

Barnes on 4 this on 5 RIP WILD

Big Priest list is already very tight, so if you cut something from it you will lose out on flexibility. Will be a much more all in strategy, since you don't often get the dream of Barnes on 4.
