anybody with a brain and runs bomb/control warrior can easily play around this deck. Ladder is filled with warrior, so it would take above average play and above average RNG to climb with ladder. Can't wait to use this deck once I'm rank 5 though. 4 more stars and you'll see me play this too
Thank you for your question! It's pretty easy to kill Mecha'thun using the deathrattle combos, but with Auchenai Phantasm you have another way to kill the thun! With your cheap healing cards and the phantasm you save a lot of mana and can clear your own board while also killing your thun! I have an in depth explanation on my thread about theorycrafting here: Click me
Good luck getting anything to stick on board when people figure out what your doing. Reckless Experimenter is an almost instant kill when played. With them gone your going to have to play Mechathun and hope is sticks for a turn before playing the kill. Good luck with that.
Seems like he is trying to get 1 Mana experimenter or mechathun using the spirit, but then he needs spirit to stick... And it does have stealth... But there are some easy ways to remove 0 health minions...
Thank you for the feed back, I looked into it with the help of another deck builder. There is no need for praying to have something stick anymore! We also have more survivability. So we just need a cheaper thun and we accomplish that with this:
I had these great members of the site DM me, they suggested these swaps:
Ideally, your hand looks like this: 3 healing cards, a reduced cost Mecha'thun, and Auchenai Phantasm. 5 cards to complete our Exodia win condition. Seems fair, right? Getting there is harder than it is now. To get there we need to have these things happen:
On or past 8 mana curve, with Reckless Experimenter on the board, drop Mecha'thun and Spirit of the Dead
Killing thun AND winning the game, means we burn are hand and LASTLY destroying the thun. My favorite way would be to have my last cards to play, in order: drop thun, drop phantasm, Regenerate thun x2, Circle of Healing. Win
Here's a template for a new meta Mecha'thun deck willl detailed explanation of card choices and a brief on how to play. Love an upvote, already upvoted yours. I'm about to try your deck against the inn keeper in solo mode too

Hi! I actually love the inclusion with Auchenai Phantasm in combo with healing cards. I share a very similar ideology! Could you help me with something! Would take a look at my Mecha'thun concept? You input would much appreciated. My deck is theorycrafted with the end of the year of the raven in mind. We lose a lot of cards to the wild! Here's the deck if you're interested
Please add Constructive Criticism, and be ahead of other players. We can and will define the new meta! I am super excited about theorycrafting, and even more, thinking about new patches!
The purpose of this post is to share my idea of what the end of the Year of the Raven might do to some decks. For example, what could a Mecha'thun look like? Some of my favourite cards are going to be lost to Wild "(.
I wanted to tackle some problems I think I am going to have, If I tried the ultimate win condition:
Ticking Abomination was key to sacrificing the thun for the greater good and to win the game, so with some cheap healing spells in combination with the Auchenai Phantasm we can efficiently kill the thun.
To replace Amara we can survive into late game with a combination of Squashling and other healing cards.
Killing thun AND winning the game, means we burn our hand and LASTLY destroying the thun. My favorite way would be to have my last cards to play, in order: drop thun, drop phantasm, Regenerate thun x2, Circle of Healing. Win
With Auchenai Soulpriest, Wild Pyromancer, and other classic card combos, we use the board-clears as old as time itself. Although, it does cost quite a few cards, if done strategically, you'll still gain value over your opponent.
Comboing Northshire Cleric with your heals is still one of the best draw mechanics in the game. Wild Pyromancer, Acolyte of Pain, and any of our cheap spells can, not only, draw cards but simultaneously clear the board.
Have Reckless Experimenter survive a turn on or past 7 mana curve. On or past 8 mana curve, with Reckless Experimenter on the board, drop Mecha'thun and Spirit of the Dead. Have 3 healing cards, a reduced costMecha'thun, and Auchenai Phantasm. Win. Below is the deck I think could work with the new standard.

Sorry mods, I reposted this in class specific thread! Feel free to delete this post. Sorry for any inconvenience!

The great part about this website and the community is that any idea is helpful. There are so many ways to look at the game! I'm really considering changing Witchwood Piper, but I like being able to drawSpirit of the Dead. Any suggestions? I don't know what to with her, and I feel like I'm not getting enough value from her. I would love your input!
This was so fun! I really like the endless opportunities of this deck. I get Reno 70% of my games! You seem like you understand the mechanics of Hearthstone above the average player. Could you help me with something? I'm working on a theorycrafting deck with keeping in mind what hearthstone will be w/o the Year of the Raven. Losing a bunch of cards, means we have to get creative. I'm looking for constructive criticism, and I would love your input on the deck:
