Yogg Saron was played in Whispers till Karazhan in serious meta decks, mostly Druid and Mage (but even Warrior lol). It was on average so good it decided tournaments. Only after it was nerfed and you couldn't reliably get a decent number of spells it was no longer used.
So I think this card is a serious contender for being used. Decks are a bit different than they were then, but you can still see this card as a boardclear + some value on average.
I usually play slower, control decks, so racing the face is usually not doable. That said you can always try teching (and hope you draw decently and they don't highroll you). It's Wild after all, so you have more options that can fit your deck.
Sylvanas Windrunner is just a strong card on it's own and you can fit it almost anywhere.
Yes, Warlock is really good, mostly because Voidcaller into Voidlord and Life Tap. With powerful cards like Mal'Ganis, Defile, Carnivorous Cube, Mountain Giant, Bloodreaver Gul'dan etc on top it has excellent Control and Combo options. I wouldn't say it "dominates" but if you compare the power level and sheer amount of archetypes of Warlock and let's say Druid or Warrior in Wild... yeah.
I've been having success with the deck in description, reaching rank 5 consistently was easy peasy, at least before RoS, dunno how good it is now since I've been trying different stuff. I try to outlast everything my opponents throw at me with the help of Jaina, N'Zoth and all the AoE. I have Dirty Rats for combo decks and a big combo against control. The combo is Thaurissan: Brann - Jan'alai - Zola + eventually Echo of Medivh.
Well Wild is pretty bad rn, at least for me. Big Priest makes an awfully high percentage of decks I face. And that just sucks all the fun I might be having.
Fuck all Big Priest players. That deck is truly a cancer and I understand why a lot of people dont wanna get even near Wild. I played 9 games in Wild today. Of those 9, 4 were this stupid fucking bullshit of resurrecting 10 drops and 8 drops for 2 and 4 mana. This shit needs to get nerfed to oblivion soon.
Well, creating whole new archetypes is hard - I think with the exception of obvious ones lot of people want to try right away, new archetypes will come eventually over time.
So, as always, I'll just try optimizing my current decks and will tinker with whatever I'll get untill my urge to craft something overcomes me.

I like how there are some people replying that didn't even read the post. Gj.

Druid: Poison Seeds
Hunter: deathrattle synergies with Sylvanas (or even Spider Bomb helps) such as Play Dead, Terrorscale Stalker and Nine Lives (since you can search her faster with stuff like Tracking, Stitched Tracker or Master's Call)
Mage: Polymorph, Potion of Polymorph, or even Polymorph: Boar
Paladin: ? stuff like Equality helps, but usually isn't enough
Priest: Mind Control, Entomb, add in Shadow Visions for extra copies
Rogue: Sap, Vanish, Vilespine Slayer to help you keep tempo
Shaman: Hex, Devolve, Krag'wa, the Frog for more copies
Warlock: I'm guessing cheating out demons is a decent counter on it's own? or Doomsayer + Treachery but that's pretty memey
Warrior: ? I find Control Warrior to be a weak Wild archetype currently

Ok I'm not even that salty, but look at this:
Dude's got literal constructed token Druid in Arena with 3 Acornbearers, The Forest's Aid, Soul of the Forest and Savage Roar in top half of his deck.

Most fun legendary of the entire set.

+1 Very nice deck! I made some changes to focus more Heistbaron Togwaggle himself rather than the Arcane Giants like +1 Shadowstep for more Crowns. Also Lab Recruiter instead of Togwaggle's Scheme to help with aggro and so that I can go infinite with Valeera the Hollow.
Also do you think it is possible (somewhat viable) to make a combo with Arcane Giant, Togwaggle's Scheme and Tak Nozwhisker?

Pack 1: Madame Lazul
Pack 21: Keeper Stalladris
Pack 43: Tak Nozwhisker
Than nothing so far. Should have saved more but Rastakhan had some fun cards.

But some cards that seem interesting to me: Lifeweaver, Nine Lives, Kalecgos in Renomage, Dragon Speaker, Heistbaron Togwaggle, Walking Fountain, Omega Devastator.

Ok that is a Druid legendary done right. Now the restore health archetype has my attention.

So you're playing no 1 drops and only one 2 drop you really want?

Jade Druid is most common in Wild in my experience.
