Seems like a format that would be played for 3 days and then never ever played again.
I'd rather have something to improve standard and/or wild, not something to split the playerbase further
This. Right now Wild is played only by a small minority of players, your format would likely get a fraction of them. Balancing problematic cards in Wild should be the priority in order to keep it long term sustainable. (Note the community's outrage about certain cards/interactions i.e. Barnes, Star Aligner).
Can anyone actually explain to me, what the problem is with Baku and Genn? As I see it, they basicly created 2 deck types on their own. Those decks are not solely aggro decks, anyone claiming that, is better looking up salt threads. Or maybe some hearthstone wiki to read up what "aggro" actually refers to. Whether the deck actually uses odd/even costed cards or just a regular mix doesn't really matter to me, so I simply cannot grasp what the problem is. Not Baku/Genn are problematic but rather single odd/even cards being too powerful.
Odd Paladin can throw literally any cards into their deck and still get carried by their hero power. Odd Rogue completely shuts down any 2 health minion. Even Shaman and Even Paladin have free tokens for their buffs, thus having easier time taking the board.
Ok thinking about the nerfs for a while I think this is gonna happen in a few months:
Tier 1 Odd or Even deck will emerge/be good for some time ---> classic card will be nerfed because of it.
3 of these cards were nerfed because of Genn Greymane or Baku the Mooneater. They are clearly problematic for the game but Blizzard isn't willing to admit.

No Blizzard, I don't want to play against the same guy 7 times in a row...

So many goddamn Rogues - great showcase of netdecking skills folks.
Anyways, I've tried Warlock with cards like Despicable Dreadlord, Defile with 8 wins. Shame I don't have Lord Godfrey. Also it's time for Wicked Skeleton and Arena Fanatic into Hir'eek, the Bat to shine.

Is that supposed to be HMS Terror in Bottled Terror?

I'd say yes if you want to play Wild and probably no for Standard.

That's why it was way more balanced than this Baku crap.

ANY form of Control Paladin got way worse now because of Genn Greymane and Mr. Baku the Mooneater. I really hope they give us something good in April.

Don't really get that too, the only variation of Mechat'hun Warlock in Wild I've seen was a modified Renolock with just Thaurissan...

Play it with Wild Pyromancer.

Everything except Druid.

Remember resource management? Playing around opponent's cards, not their hero power?
