What are you guys (and girls) opinion's of C'Thun so far? I've had a lot of fun with him. He's a really fun card to play while also keeping viability, and sometimes he just feels so OP, not that I'm going to complain about that.
Not only does the Shaman win in terms of overall card quality but I think it wins in terms of golden animations too. Every single Shaman card in this expansion has a golden animation anywhere between "pretty good" to "AMAZING". Hallazeal the Ascended has easily one of the best golden animations in the set.
And this card requires a condition to be met to be good. Granted it's a condition that you'll meet literally every single time you play it in the right deck, but a condition nonetheless.
Theoretically any class except maybe Hunter could make a C'Thun deck somewhat work.
Now the best classes to do this with would be Druid because of their ramp ability and their support cards, Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and Dark Arakkoa.
Rogue because of shenanigans with stuff like Shadowstep and Shadowcaster, basically their normal Rogue stuff. Not to mention, their C'Thun support card Blade of C'Thun looks pretty insane.
Priest because of their control abilities thanks to their healing. Circle of Healing would go really well with a Wild Pyromancer + Hooded Acolyte combo. Maybe even Holy Champion could see play in those decks as she goes really well with the Hooded Acolyte, Twilight Darkmender and Darkshire Alchemist (which the latter two also work really well with the Hooded Acolyte).
Warrior mostly because just like Priest, Warrior is a control class. It can easily stay alive and thus live long enough consistently to get C'Thun. Ancient Shieldbearer is also a pretty good support card (it works well with Shield Slam and can be played at any stage in the game and you'll still get the armor).
Those are the four best, but I don't think it's impossible for other classes to make a C'Thun deck work. It depends on how it plays out.
I don't necessarily think so. I'm the type of person who keeps most of the cards they have regardless of how playable they are, just in the event that I actually do use them for something in the future and for the sake of collection (though if I get something CATASTROPHICALLY bad, I will probably DE it).

As part of one of the "5 new packs" quest, I opened a Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Quite lucky.

Might have something to do with the fact that Blizzard I think made them temporarily available until May 1st.

Besides the C'Thun you get from the 3 packs, Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound.

And you were right.

One of the best golden animations of all of the Old Gods cards imo.

This link right here will take you to all the golden Shaman cards in the set: http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards?filter-golden=y&filter-premium=1&filter-set=105&filter-unreleased=1&filter-class=256&display=3
Outside of the Shaman cards, I would say:
DOOM!
C'Thun
Nzoth, the Corruptor (I hope I got the link right, this card is always annoying to get the link right)
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End
Blood of The Ancient One
Call of the Wild
Wisps of the Old Gods
Malkorok
Thistle Tea
Herald Volazj
Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale
Power Word: Tentacles
Corrupted Healbot
Darkshire Alchemist
Shadow Word: Horror
Faceless Shambler
Blood Warriors
Infest
Renounce Darkness
Beckoner of Evil
On the Hunt
Possessed Villager
To be honest, there's a lot of pretty good golden animations here. Even cards that aren't here have good animations.
EDIT: N'Zoth is an annoying card to get the linking right on.

Predictably, I might try to build some C'Thun deck first depending on what cards I get. Thankfully most C'Thun related cards are common or rare.
I might also try to build some Totem Shaman deck or something like that.

To be honest, there should be a tier 4, and some of the cards from tier 3 should be shifted there.

So weird to see both Charge and Stealth on an official card.

I love how this card isn't even released yet and it's already in more decks than most other legendaries in the game.
