Hey guys, this is my ranking of the legendaries from WoTOG. I only looked at this from a constructed standard approach. Tier 1 means that the card is strong and will either see a lot of competitive play, or is an auto-include in most decks. Tier 2 means that the card has some potential, but is not as good as tier 2. Tier 3 are just awful cards that are either too random, have a poor effect, and/or poorly stated. Tier 4 is basically unplayable. These rankings are not based on arena or wild format.
Yeah, Fandral is definitely up there in terms of cannot be left alone on the board. Yogg is also a great card, 10 mana 10/10 is average (not for a legendary ofc, compare deathwing dragonlord) but you get to pull out a random minion from your deck. Plop this is ramp c'thun druid or just ramp druid and you can be pulling out ironbarks and a number of strong creatures. that being said many druid cards are choose one and better left to be played from the hand but still it pulls out a minion every turn, draws silence, draws bgh (but bgh on it is worthwhile) and draws attention from your face unless lethal dmg
EDIT: also not sure if Cho'gall is actually Tier 1, requires a decent spell like siphon soul or bane of doom in hand to be worthwhile and many other spells either don't need a mana cost reduction or aren't worth the health. I'd say Cho'gall is top half Tier 2
Fandral is the kind of card that won't be as great as a lot of people think, but tier 3 is a joke. If you drop Fandral, and he is not immediately dealt with, the game will spiral out of control.
Actually, after taking a look at the Choose One cards again, I am going to move him up to tier 2. I just realized that his interaction with Nourish is crazy good.

Dr. Boom and Justicar Truehart anyone?
yeah I remember Troggzor and Varian Wryn are the best cards
Ben Brode said on stream he was super excited about fandral Staghelm and he has access to future sets and internal play testing. To call it Tier 3 is stupidity and to call it tier 2 cuz if the "interaction with nourish" is ignorance, it doesn't interact well with nourish. Turn 9 or 7 with innervate is not why this card is powerful.
There are 20 current choose cards.

thats 17 cards to try in standard with him. You can get him again and or a choose spell off raven idol. 400% boost to class cards and you will play this with emperor as always.
they stripped combo away they obviously gave Druid some tools after nerfing 3 staple cards. Putting this on the same level as Nat dark fisher is moronic.
They wouldn't make the effort to put new card art and versions of all the choose minions if he was junk. Think about it blizzard is about making money not wasting resources.
These lists are like astrologers they say 30 things untrue and if one turns out they act like Nostradamus.
I'd put Malkorok into tier 1 since he will give you a lot of tempo AND you don't have to keep your weapon every time. And sometimes, you even are going to need a weapon, no matter of whitch size. Also N'Zoth will be tier 1 as well. This is just my point of view and I'm gonna definitely make some decks with those cards in it (I guess pirate Warrior with Malkorok is a thing including the Pirate legendary)
Cho'gall isn't Tier 1 material simply because majority of Warlock spells sucks. The only one worth using with his ability isShadowflame
Not sure about Xaril, Poisoned Mindbeing Tier 1, simply because playing him is a tempo loss, and Miracle Rogue sure doesn't look good in the new expansion.
The new legendaries are released for deck archetypes so you can't just say something like Fandral Staghelm or Hallazeal the Ascended are tier 1. That being said... they are definitely going to change how we play druid and shaman so I would put them in either tier 1 or high tier 2 for Fandral Staghelm.
Shifter Zerus will definitely be experimented with and there's a lot of potential and versatility with it for most control decks. I play Control Warrior mostly, but I wouldn't play this card only because it's unpredictable. Maybe tier 2?
Favourite legendary this expansion is definitely Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Nothing much to say, lots of value.

I moved Cho'gall to tier 2. The way I see it is that in a renolock with Dr. Boom gone, Cho'Gall provides a solid 7/7 body for 7 mana AND it combos really well withDemonwrath,Hellfire, and Siphon Soul.
Midrange hunter lost all of its 5 drops with Naxx being rotated out. Princess Huhuran helps to overcome this. If you playInfested Wolf turn 4 then follow it up with princess then you are gaining a huge advantage. Not only that, but its body being a 6/5 is great and even if its battlecry does not trigger then its still statted really well. On top of that it is also a beast so it synergizes really nicely with the hunter archetype.

WHAT?
Fandral is NOT T3
What if one day you woke up and Big Game Hunter and Hemet Nesingwary switched card texts...
Fandral, Shifter, and Yogg all have potential if nothing else.
Fandral will be good.... And I think shifter zeros will be good in control decks and don't sleep on hallazeal
Iron Juggernaut
To be honest, there should be a tier 4, and some of the cards from tier 3 should be shifted there.

I don't think Cho'Gall is that great, mainly because you have to play a spell the same term to get any value. Hallazeal the Ascended is definitely Tier 1.Soggoth the Slitherer and The Boogeymonster belong in Tier 4.
Justicar Trueheart in Rogue?
These "best guesses" are all they are.

Honestly I don't like Cho'gall and Princess Huhuran in tier 1. Unless you are really desperate and absolutely need to use Twisting Nether or DOOM! in a control/reno deck, the only good spell/target is Siphon Soul. The same goes with Princess Huhuran where good deathrattles like Savannah Highmane and Sylvanas Windrunner cannot be played on the same turn.
Justicar Trueheart in Rogue?
Hahaha. Thank you for the laugh.
Man what is up with this new Hogger at tier 4? The guy has such potential. Deserve at least some test at Patron/Enrage Warrior.

I think nat might see some play, aggro paladin played millhouse a while ago
