I don't see what the big deal is. Sure the deck is strong, but if you mulligan aggressively for ooze and or harrison you will usually win. The deck usually can't win without strong doom hammer value. I play reno paladin on ladder and I usually beat this deck.
I tried a few variations of face shaman and found it to be very inconsistant.
Without a good open, the oppenent just stabalizes and you run outta cards. You really need the right hand to win.
One belcher if they are at 12+ health or a healbot can just ruin your chances of finishing them, usually you run low on cards and run out of steam when they stabalize. There are much worse decks than this one...

Really? Then the face shamans you are facing must really suck, because I hardly ever lose to any sort of paladin deck with it. Reno paladin is a pretty bad deck overall by the way.
I am befuddled by the OP's gargantuan range of things that make him salty.I have followed his comments in the Salt thread and several other such threads and , dear me, he has whined about virtually ANY and EVERY thing HS related.Literally.From Control/Patron Warrior to Dragon Priest , Eboladin and Oil Rogue(like, cmon' dude) ,and now he has gone even further... Mikey old buddy old pal, complaining about Shaman Decks is like the Hearthstone equivalent of complaining about having to wear a condom when engaging in intercourse with a less than stellar knowledge of your counterpart...It's annoying but that's how it goes unless you feed on STDs.Beats not having sex at all though, right?
You are so right. I set out on the trail of salt this afternoon and he has enough to go around for everyone else too. Its actually hilarious that he let himself drop from 6 to 11. Also, he bashes every deck that could possibly beat his precious ramp druid(which runs Kel, LOL). Pretty entertaining.

Blah blah blah. Glad I got you little bitches' following me around. Sheep :D
I dont run Kel anymore. God forbid I try something interesting .
It's not that I'm faulting you for trying something, it's that you ran a non-viable card during a meta that clearly needs to be tailored to. Also, try playing a deck that works right now. Ramp druid is not viable at the moment. The only top tier druid deck is midrange. Maybe you could try that?
Experimenting is what makes this game fun and i certainly don't fault you for it. i make up fun decks all the time. Check my mind control priest. Just don't go trampling over everyone else who A. wants to stay competitive by using tried and true variations of decks that work or B. aren't trying to experiment just yet.
The meta is currently so varied I actually LIKE it when i come up against one of these meta decks like secret pala for aggro-shaman, I'm teched against those, I know what cards they have, they're my farming. 5/10 games right now I'm against someones own reno creation, and elise deck, or whatever and I can't predict ****.

Probably you didn't play against his build and Renodin isn't that bad it's just overshadowed by midrange paladin.
His points are still true, Ooze and Harrison wrack doomhammer the hard way. Especially Harrison, because in a deck with taunters and heal, 6 cards guarantee that you draw into them.
The thing is, people have this idea that FS needs doomhammer to win games, when this is far from true. If you get a good start with tunnel trogg and/or totem golem(which is likely, considering how many one drops and overload cards the deck has) you can still easily win by finishing the guy off with spells once you lose board control. Harry and ooze are decent tech cards, but they won't suddenly make the match up an auto win, and not every deck can afford to even play them.
Even renolock is only slightly favored against FS in my experience(for one they need to even have reno in their top 15 cards, and for two they need to have your board clear by turn 6 before they play it), and it's a much better deck than reno paladin.
FS might actually be the best deck in the game right now(if nothing else, at least it's damn sure the best secret paladin counter), it's just that people have this idea that face decks are easy to play by nature, which they are not(and shaman in particular is harder than usual, as you have a lot more resources to manage than a hunter in order to optimize your chances to win). This is why secret paladin is still the most popular deck in the game.
I dont see how people talk about this being overpower, this is a normal non consistent aggro deck, if u get shitty cards on your mulligan the other decks stomp you, if u lucky enough and get a good start u might win, that is it, even the shaman hero power have rng, they need a combination of cards to win, its frustrating to get burst sometimes but that dont always happen, this deck has so many bad match up, is not like secret paladin that if curve perfect its nearly impossible to deal with, to be honest this deck is not even tier 1, i dont see why tempo storm rank this deck so high
I honestly don't see why face shaman is being discussed now. I played against only one all last season, at rank 19. Am I just really lucky, or is the deck's validity exaggerated?
There are also people playing secret paladin at those ranks. Some people actually manage to be that bad at the game.
Point being? Yes, secret pally is cancer, but why is that relevant?
If you are hinting I play secret pally, I don't. I mainly played CW and Renolock last season

My point was that there are people playing at the lower rankings with any deck, regardless of how easy it is to pilot or how powerful it is.
I'm currently maining face shaman at around rank 7(which means I am mostly playing against people who were legend or close to it before the reset) and have been to legend with it last season, and in my opinion it is currently the best deck in the game.
Liquid takes a bunch of pros rankings and average them, so perhaps they took the rankings before the last wing and before the deck was actually refined or played as much as it is.
A lot of pro's also say the Meta Snapshot is sorely overrated.

Step 1: Play a Rogue with piloted sky golems.
Step 2: Get an animated armor from a sky golem.
Step 3: Target it with master of disguise.
Problem SMOrcs?
