I've come to have hope for brutal nerfs due to the Blade Flurry nerf. It was gross overkill at the time, but can you imagine a prenerf Blade Flurry plus a buffed up Kingsbane? That one, 2-mana card could easily OTK you. Or just serve as a ridiculously powerful board clear.
So I think they might have something good lined up for druid that would've been overpowered if it were paired with a 2 mana Wild Growth or 5 mana Nourish.
Achieving legend really just shows how much time you spend playing, I think nothing of it. If they ever add a card back for achieving legend as F2P, then that would be prestigious in my book, even if only for the commitment.
Hunter is pretty popular right now, though not necessarily overpowered, just strong. So whatever you play be ready to counter them. Funny thing is they've swung around from being the aggro boogeyman to being a control powerhouse.
Deathstalker Rexxar, His hero power has potential to generate a big threat every turn.
and Zul'jin. This guy can generate a Christmas tree of Secrets Just like good old Secret paladin. That backed by Emerald Spellstone, Animal Companion, and various other random spells can make for a powerful turn for him, and a very dicey turn for you.
This will definitely suffer from the fact that you have to draw the buffed minions first, and that's after a 3 mana "do-nothing right now" plus having 3 less mana than your opponent for possibly 9 turns.
One might argue that the +2/+2 remedies being behind on Mana, but if you figure 1 Mana = 1/1 worth of stats on average, then you're still behind, unless you play more than one minion a turn, but that calls for a lot of card draw. More than priest could muster unless they get good card draw from RR.
To avoid a game breaking interaction, Imagine this scenario:
You're at 1 Health, your opponent is at 30. You play a Shadowboxer onto an empty board and give it Lifesteal through Zilliax or Unidentified Elixir. You heal yourself and the Shadowboxer deals 1 damage, triggering Lifesteal to heal you again, which triggers him again and deals 1 more damage, resulting in a infinite loop which causes you to OTK your opponent with only 2 cards and 6-7 mana.
Sorcerers Apprentice and Radiant Elemental need to be removed from this brawl, They're inta-win cards that destroy any semblance of fun unless you join in on the cancer.
Classic Midrange Shaman, back when Handlock and Zoolock were both good matchups for it. I still remember using Earth Shock on a 4/10 Twilight Drake. One of the most satisfying things in hearthstone.
does reynad even play wild? lol, probs just some wannabe using his name.
He was testing an interaction between Naga Sea Witch and some giants. Basically the interaction was recently changed so that once you'e played a Naga Sea Witch and set the giants costs to 5, the giants discount ability kicks in afterwards and reduces their costs even further. Mountain Giant needs only 5 other cards to cost zero, Molten Giant is free if you're lower than 25 health, etc. During his stream last night he was dropping triple giants turn 5 consistently.

I think Hero cards should be explored more, but Blizzard should never give them infinite value tools like Frost Lich Jaina, Deathstalker Rexxar, and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius.

If you destroy an activated Mecha'thun with this, will the new summons cancel Mecha'thuns deathrattle?

The cards you need to be wary of are:
Lesser Emerald Spellstone, Second version summons 3 wolves, final version summons 4 wolves.
Flanking Strike
Deathstalker Rexxar, His hero power has potential to generate a big threat every turn.

Just tech in a Chief Inspector. Not so much to help with the matchup, but because the moment you do, you'll never see a hunter again.

As much as I love the idea of banning cards from tavern brawl, I find it ironic that it be done in a cheating themed brawl.

All you have to do is want to lose and he's godlike.
