I don't play standard but from what I've seen I think that druid is a big sleeper here. I doubt that dragon druid will be too strong but it does have the single best ramp card in the game Breath of Dreams, he has a decent class dragon Emerald Explorer, we all know that druid ramps up really fast and now there is also the new neutral legendary that reduces the cost of all your dragons so...I think that it will be strong. Not necessarily T1 because it doesn't do anything that is ''unfair'' but it won't be completely bad.
Hard to imagine any Shaman decks being better than Quest Shaman. Likewise, hard to imagine any Druid decks being better than Quest Druid.
All Highlander decks get a great bump. Mage in particular.
Highlander Dragon Warrior probably becomes a real thing and a very good thing.
I still haven't seen the pieces come together for Warlock yet. Galakrond Zoo looks playable, but might not be strong enough in the face of the Highlander decks.
I don't think Priest has gotten anything spectacular. Probably reliant on Combo Priest again.
I imagine there is a Rogue deck that is probably good enough to be very good - but I have no clue what it looks like yet. It probably has Galakrond. But beyond that, there are a ton of places it can go.
I think warrior but I fear more about the control side of it than the aggro. But if I'm being honest every class is getting crazy cards and I wouldn't be surprised if any one of them turns out to be the meta defining class of the expansion
More important to me is that no class stands out as being obviously weak.
Every class has something worth experimenting with. I'm sure they won't all pan out, but none of the archetypes being pushed are Freeze Shaman-level bad.

The new 5dmg battelcry minion for shaman. Hard to look past this card. Lackeys will still carry early game then they are going to kill you faster than ever.

I realize there are still lots of cards to go, but from some classes we've already gotten an idea which direction they're going in.
Based on what we've seen so far, which classes do you think could be strong?
For me personally, I'm a bit worried for some kind of Aggro Galakrond Warrior. Mage seem to have a lot of synergy with their new cards as well.
For me is warlock, the new legendary draw 4 cards and increase the limit of hand size will bring old handlock back and much more stronger.
Warrior with the dragon package should be strong.

Dragon Warrior
Already written, handlock with the new legendary.
Also, quest mage with the new legendary (not the new Malygos, one which works like Priest Weapon)
Quest Shaman, with the new minion that deals 5 damage if you're overloaded, is going to be nuts.
warlock and hunter is my guess
I'm not online, it's just your imagination
Quest shaman, but I don’t care. I’m playing otk rogue lol
I think the Warrior Galakrond with that 3 cost rush dragon will be good.
Rogue.
They have arguably the best Galakrond so far and can use Kronx multiple times thanks to Shadowstep, Tog's Scheme, Waggle Pick, ...
The assassin class. Or the cleric. Both are getting some strong new options. Maybe even elf class, depending of its other legendary card.
Watch out for for Incel class also.
Druid/Rogue
Rogue for sure. There are lots of good Battlecries and other reasons to juggle cards this expansion, and rogues are the best jugglers.

Highlander Warlock will be good with the new hand size dude.
Quest Shaman will be a little better than it already is.
I think Warrior will figure out how to make Mid range Dragons work out. Maybe even with some hand buff shenanigans.
Spell-spamming Mage will be great with the new breath spell and the elemental that poops out 5/5 guys.
Hero-Power Hunter only need one or two more good cards to be a threat.
Lastly, I hope Druid and Paladin figure out how to be full Dragon lovers (especially Paladin with the support they've seen last few expansions)
This space is intentionally blank.
