The extra card you get is enough of an advantage as is. either remove the coin or that extra card. i wouldn't be surprised if the winrate for going second was much higher.
No, that's bananas. Even with the coin and the extra card, I'd prefer to go first. Get rid of either one, and you will throw out the only thing that keeps the odds close. Even then, going first still has like a 2 percent higher chance of winning you the game.
i'm pretty sure there was an interview about that like a year ago and they said that winrates for going 1st and 2nd were 51% and 49% respectively and that that's a good enough number for them. doubt they're ever changing it.
There has been an influx of really bad posts the last 3 days.
This is what rotation does to new players - they go craaaaaazy ;)

I think Blizz must change coin into something like in TES legends, gives you +1 mana this turn, but it's not a spell, and 2 uses, but not on single turn. It will be more balanced, vs aggro 1 coin isn't enough and being spell it's op for rogue and mage sometimes.
it's not really. very few decks can actually take advantage of this play state. going first is still for the majority of the time, going to be the bigger advantage for more decks.
I think the only decks that wanna go 2nd are some miracle rogue decks and hand based decks that wanna cheat out an early mountain giant or similar. (like even lock last year)

Nope.
Going 2nd is still a disadvantage for the vast majority of decks.
Only few decks can generate an advantage from going 2nd.
Statistically measured.
Yeah... I wanna see you play against turn 1 Flame Imp into turn 2 Demonfire without The Coin
Of all the nerf threads this is the worst. I would refer you to the salt thread but I don't think that is enough.
What you are suggesting would murder HS balance.
lol. Cat run over your keyboard and wrote this shit
Are you insane??? Even with coin going first is a huge advantage.

That's Incredible!
I think coin should be something like joker (not spell) and only usable in first 5 turns.
there is already disadvatage if u going secend for 90% of decks and now u want to remove the coin ? LUL

Cats are truly evil
According to my deck tracker - I have a 58% win rate without coin and 52% win rate with coin - so No we do not need to remove the coin.
