This deck is absolute garbage. You need really good RNG to win with it, rafaam constantly drops 3/4s and 3/5s that your lightbomb can't clear and if you don't draw all of your removal pieces perfectly on time while he doesn't have a way to deal with the 10/10 you steal once or twice in the game you just lose. Replace the holy novas and lightbombs if you want a chance at winning.
now that warleader's been nerfed and there's a lot more board clears available this fight is a lot easier. I've put in Blast Wave x2 along with two Volcanic Potions and they work well.
Edit: If you somehow get your hands on a Counterspell, it is a FANTASTIC choice for this fight. The only spells he has are either summon 5 murlocs that died this game or Anyfin Can Happen, which either way just outright 'kills' 5/7 murlocs for 3 mana.
Also, save your Frost Novas for when his board is completely full (and his hand too) if you can. Freezing his board prevents him from playing more murlocs and with drawing 3 cards per turn you can mill a very good amount of murlocs and perhaps even one of the powerhouse spells!
struggles a bit with equality taking a big nerf clearing those +3/+3 minions early on, but over all still works like a charm and got a victory on the first try with no adjustments. Highly recommend this deck if you're struggling!
perhaps they're doing something different and revealing almost no cards so that we get to discover all of them on our own when the expansion hits. doesn't seem like a great idea to me though, really limits theorycrafting time.
You need to drop Doomsayer turn 2 and pray he doesn't have a way to kill it, then the fight is pretty straight forward as long as your draw isn't abysmal. Put doomsayer in the deck, chuck out the yetis they dont do much
you don't NEED Shadow Word: Pain for the rod, just use Silence on it so it can't attack and try to build up your board. You really need to get lucky that he doesn't get a bunch of his 3 mana 5/5s early on but other than that as long as you either silence or kill the rod off entirely you should be just fine. Also, add Inner Fires.
My favourite by far is old gods. Not only is it the set with BY FAR the most 10 drops printed (Fairly sure it's 5? might be 6). maybe i'm biased because it's when I started, but I loved the idea of corrupted older cards coming back, I loved the 4 old gods, the crazy yogg moments and over all the power level of the majority of the set was pretty well in check (aside from that cheeky 4 mana 7/7 introducing us to some shaman shenanigans)
