In Boomsday Project, we had Extra Arms, which by the look of the art belongs more to Rastakhan's Rumble. I do not see any other connection between these two expansions.
Do you see any card in Rastakhan's Rumble which does not really fit in, or any reference which could lead to new expansion, which is probably Dalaran or Kirin Tor, as many people guessed already? To be honest, when i look at Rastakhan cards, Wartbringer does not really fit in.
Grave Horror fits with the priest's "Dead" theme of the expansion Though you are onto something with the Splitting image I'm thinking it would be something to do with Wisps and that kind of thing. Being "out of body".

You're forgetting the Dendrologist in the Boomsday pzzle lab. He says 'Gilnean pumpkins, Zandalari zucchinis' as one of his random voicelines, similar to Experiment C/Nightmare Amalgam in the Monster Hunt. Witchwood=Gilneas, Rastakhan=Zandalar. So maybe we should be looking for clues in the Rumble Run?!
I'd suggest: Arcanosaur. As the only elemental in the set, and being a (slightly) bad card that won't be played much in the year of the raven, it seems a harbringer of an expansion to come: "Arcane Energy will find it's way!"(it's flavourtext)
All this points to an arcane-themed expansion, like Dalaran.

Arcanosaur flavor text "Arcane Energy will find it's way!" is an easter egg for the movie Jurassic Park, when Jeff Goldbloom say's "Life always finds a way." Total Un'Goro card!
The expansion is going to be Draenei/Argus-themed.
In K&C, Elven Minstrel talks about Gilneas --> Witchood.
In Witchwood, the Monster Hunt Experiment 3C says he escaped Boomlabs --> Boomsday.
I'm not aware of any card in Boomsday that gave away Rastakhan's Rumble, but there's clearly one card in the latter that really feels out of place with the rest: Auchenai Phantasm.
I already speculated that this was a hint to the next expansion, and the first tab of the Year of the Dragon expansion thing-y looks very similar to Draenei architecture, more than it does to Dalaran architecture. This is reinforced by the fact that devs said there would be a narrative tying all three expansions together, and the third tab looks Iron Horde related (it's similar to the Warlords of Draenor card back). I have no clue for the second one though.
Interesting. Didn't know about those. There does always seem to be a card or two that feels out of place. I don't necessarily agree with Arcanosaur. Dinosaurs were a sort of sub-theme in RR, so seeing Mage getting an arcane Dino seems normal to me.

Hi.
In Kobolds, we had Elven Minstrel, which was supposed to connect to Witchwood ('There once was a man from Gilneas..' quote when you play him):
https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/8cahbb/elven_minstrels_summon_quote_was_a_tease_for/
In Witchwood, we had Nightmare Amalgam, when you were fighting it in solo adventure, there was plenty of connections to Dr. Boom and Netherstorm labs:

Any ideas?
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
Cool, I did not know about the hints. Thanks OP, interessting.
Wartbringer is a follower of Krag'wa, the Frog. There used to be a common belief that touching frogs/toads would give you warts, hence the name.
Wartbringer is fine.
I feel like maybe Splitting Image, Surrender to Madness, or Grave Horror seem out of place.
I mean, what even is Splitting Image? it just seems like a weird random thing that has no place in this set thematically.
the art on Surrender to Madness does not look like this set. this card has nothing to do with trolls, the arena, or anything like that.
the whole theme of Grave Horror seems more like a naxx, or frozen throne kinda thing. i mean, why in the troll expansion?
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
He is a troll, so probably that is why he in the troll expansion.
Auchenai phantasm?
Grave Horror fits with the priest's "Dead" theme of the expansion
Though you are onto something with the Splitting image

So far every card I've seen named by posters fits in my opinion, except one!
Pyromaniac is a maybe?
Arcanosaur feels like an Un'Goro card
Auchenai Phantasm seems pretty outa place!
Auchenai Phantasm seems most out of place, and the purple of the Draenei might match the first expansion picture..

I agree with people talking about Auchenai Phantasm. She feels a bit out of place.
That said, Elven Minstrel was a perfect fit for K&C and yet he was the hint. So you never know.

C/Ping what I said on another thread:
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Interesting. Didn't know about those. There does always seem to be a card or two that feels out of place.

Maybe Bog Slosher?
I hope we get another Elise card this set. When Elise Starseeker rotated, we got Elise the Trailblazer. I wanna see something really funky.
Elise the Dragonrider battlecry: your dragons now have Charge! (Terrible idea I know)
They probably will save Elise for the August set which people are predicting will be LoE related.
My guest would be Hakkar, the Soulflayer, the video has a lot of old gods allusion and Hakkar creates CORRUPTED blood cards. And he is a god...
Love the tribes.
