ever thought that it just may be, that the same players are making multiple accounts? I've lost count on how many duplicate accounts I have seen until today...
Just cause Blizzard reached 100 million accounts, doesn't mean the game is in a good state and there are more people joining than leaving.
A couple of years ago it was 70 million
Now it is 100 million
Clearly more people are leaving!
All it means there are 100 million accounts created, it does not mean 100 millions are playing and active in the game. Looking at twitch numbers, seems to me the game loses it interest with each year.

You are assuming that a majority of players have multiple accounts. Twitch numbers don't mean a thing. 40-70-100k views doesn't even scratch the surface of the playerbase. Players who go to watch twtitch games and participate on forums/reddit don't even make a 1% of the total playerbase. We are the ones who are in the vast minority here.
Does it say if they consider accounts actually being played on a regular basis or is it simply accounts created? I don't think it specifies, but either way I'm not going to bother worrying too much about it. FREE STUFF!!!
the game just reached the 100million players btw,its far away from being dead
Accounts that played HS, not the actual number of players.
For me, there are worse people than those who say the game is dead. I mean the people like the op- die hard fanboys.
And where do you and the others get the notion that the statistic was derived from the number of accounts? Blizzard never said as much and they would likely consider such a method of counting dubious and unreliable.

EVERYONE IS LEAVING HEARTHSTONE!!! GAME IS DYING!!! OMG, SO UNBALANCED, NO WONDER THAT THE GAME IS DEAD!!!
EDIT: If it wasn't clear enough, this is a joke made at the expense of forum monkeys that constantly screech that the game is dead.
This small indie company sure has come a long way
Praise RNGsus!

Congrats on reaching 100 million accounts, I'm sure most are still playing lol.
Being that I can log in and play 451456 different players and rarely see the same ones as my opponent, gonna say HS is in a good place.
Grats Team 5.

I left it. now it's 99.999.999
You are just giving them the attention they wanted....
Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!
Omg! Your hyperbole is so hilarious!
I sure am glad they didn't wasteland such a relevant thread.
Oh and ty for sharing your insightful, relevant, uniquely concise thoughts on this matter.
Well, it's not unusual for me to face the same opponent twice (I already faced the same guy three times in sequence).
