You get one "pull" for free, 10 bucks gives you two more "pulls" and after paying every top4 win gives you another "pull". So 10 bucks + 7 top4 wins gets you everything, which makes this a pretty good deal if you ask me.

posted a message on The most powerful/broken expansion yet?

Cards are nerfed and changed all the time during development, it's just that they usually don't share their previous iterations, unless the card got changed after they finalized their reveal (which can take weeks of time, because of localization).

Sure, and Hero Cards are just fancy spells and spells are just 0 health minions. What's your point?

If you must know, smart-arse, hero cards, spells and weapons all have unique properties, interactions and places on the board. "Locations" are functionally the same as a hero power, with all the convenience of a dormant minion that never wakes up.

For one thing, this means that right off the bat any location card intended to benefit board-flooding strategies is going to limit you to six board spaces for about 5 turns. Do I need to explain how that would be counter intuitive too?

    Let's see:

Unique properties of locations: manually activatable and targeted abilities, can only be used every other turn

unique interaction of locations: confirmed to exist in the expansion announcement video. Besides that there aren't any unique interactions with hero cards, other than that they can't be counterspelled, but the same could be said about Locations and Okani.

unique place on board: Why would that even be a requirement? Hero cards are a bunch of one off effects (Battlecry, armor, new hero power, new skin) that vanish after playing them, just like spells.

Also the last part of your comment is extremely specific and really a non-issue. If they are ever going to print a board buff location, then they can just balance around the fact that they take up a boardpsace.

posted a message on Patchnotes 23.2.2 - Drek'thar Nerf & more Buffs and Nerfs - Battlegrounds too

They already announced in the Year of the Hydra post that they shifted most of the merc focus to X.4 patches, similar to how X.2 patches focus on Battlegrounds. The patch is confirmed to launch once the current N'zoth event is over on May 31.

posted a message on 23.0 Patch Notes - Expansion, Battlegrounds, Mercenaries, New Year & More!

I've been doing fine against it and most other matchups with a homebrew team of Rogers, Cornelius, Wrathion, Sinestra, Deathwing, Longxin

Rogers can scale out of controll and has high single target and aoe damage. her 2. ability also saved me some games

Cornelius is just a tank that allows the Rogers and Wrathion to scale

Wrathion is only there because he's a personal favorite. He deals a good ammount of damage with his 2. ability and his 1. too in some fringe cases. His dragonform makes him super tanky and has a high aoe ability with Deathwings +3 fel damage equipment.

Longxin is great as a way to recover if you switch her in and Wrathion is highly damaged already

    Sinestra is Sinestra

Deathwing mainly acts as a tank + booster for Wrathion

Within two turns you can deal (20* 2 + 30* 2) 100 damage to trigore with Rogers alone, meanwhile Cornelius blocks all of the incoming damage + heals the rest. If there's a Mukla you can also deal additional damage with Wrathions first ability.

Just play a tank + some spellcasters in your opener and kill Trigore in 2 turns. I personally like Corenelius + Anduin + anything you want.

posted a message on Rewards Track Refresh for Voyage to the Sunken City

Well, my common sense tells me that Battlegrounds has no meaningfull progression system, so people aren't sticking with it. But that's obviously not the case and a example of why common sense is not a source.

So I ask again: Where is your source that Battlegrounds is the most popular mode? As far as I know Blizzard does not release numbers about the playerbase and especially not divided by modes, because, believe it or not, there are a bunch of players who play more than just 1 mode.
