What are your guys' first impressions on this new xpac? Any cards that stick out as being really powerful? Any that you were excited to use but are currently disappointed with how they are performing?
It feels like another TGT. KoTF and Gadgetzan card power levels are so high that this expansions cards looks so weak. It's first day and people don't even try to make new decks, they just play old decks with 1 card changed. I'm sure there will be ONE cancer deck, but that's all. I don't expect anything untill next rotation.
The first time that the matches "feel the same". Everyone got some new toys, but ultimately, everything seems the same so far. I had one mill deck and a few spell-Hunters, but apart from that, Raza-Priest, Burn/Tempo Mage etc Nothing really new, but I think that will come with time.
That said, I'm just happy that control warlock got some great new tools and I really, really love the identity and usability of Amethyst Spellstone.
I like the expansion, my only disapointing is the cards make the classes already good priest, mage, druid, rogue and warlock even better and don't help much the bad ones, warrior, paladin, hunter and shaman.
Dungeon was fun. Having a problem with Agent.Exe. Computer thought it was spyware so can't log back in to Hearthstone but I think this is just temporary.
Worst solo content I have ever seen in any game. Before you had variety could make any deck and try out different stuff until you make it. This not only restricts that, but also makes you repeat endlessly same stuff if you want the cardback. I am speechless how bad and how much worse than normal adventures this is.
A lot of complete RNG stuff... mage cards especially, they are actually favoring those pure RNG shitstorm decks. Imbeciles.
They actually defined and forced that recruit mechanic - one of the worst and most luck dependent mechanics in game.
Insane how did they have balls to release something like this... I am speechless. Friend and I joked how designers wanted to get fired but couldn't quit on their own cos of contract or something, so they decided to recommend these ideas.
Of all the flavors you could be you chose to be salty. 1> Dungeon run is awesome. Immense replay ability. 2> A lot of the RNG stuff is for fun, think about what game you're playing before you whine about that. Most of it is never going to be consistent or competitive. Manipulation of the RNG aspect is just deckbuild prowess. It's no different than adding draw power to your deck, since drawing is RNG. 3> The recruit mechanic is interesting. Just because you lack the imagination to utilize it properly doesn't mean it's bad. There's a TON of ways to use it to your advantage.
In closing, you clearly have no imagination, why are you even playing this game or commenting here if you're so bitter? Go do something else.
Secret Mage is absolute cancer with the new secret plus weapon. you die on turn 7-8 consistently
lol ive been laddering with it, undefeated so far, even beat one of the trump priests (which shouldnt be an accomplishment, but he had keleseth on 2, raza on 5, and anduin on 8).
i think this deck is extremely strong, and hard counters rogue. No heal = dead to fireballs
I got a good number of legendaries from my packs. I played some Midrange Pally in Wild with Call to Arms and Val’anyr. It seemed pretty good, needs some refinement though. Played a few dungeon runs and had a lot of fun. Beat it my first try with Warrior, but damn Azari made me work for it lol. I almost died to fatigue. Overall, really happy with the set so far.

Meme Expansion
Lesser Onyx Spellstone has been better than I thought it would be. Faldorei Strider has been worse. Overall, I'm enjoying it a lot.

The man who got 4 The Boogeymonster from packs and thinks about playing Yogg-Saron, Hope's End decks.
How many of you spent money on this trash? Not me! hahahahaha. Every expansion the meta gets worse - no pre order this time.
Priests are insane. I've just have played against every type (dragon, spell, raza) and they're all ridiculously good.

I think it's Bs we don't get rewards for dungeon runs

Not sure if hyped yet.

my first day's reaction: that's a lot of Kingsbane
Before the release I was kinda not excited, being a hunter main, but I am pleasantly surprised. So many fun decks to try out and dungeon run is great
I really like my new Highlander mage, so much fun.
3 games in a row looks like I will lost and the deck turn the tables in each draw. :)
I think the expansion is very well done. A lot of new stuff to play around with. You are never going to satisfy everyone and haters gon' hate.
hunter good??

Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
