I opened quite a few golden legendaries :-) Golden Ragnaros the Firelord, Golden Malygos (which I dusted biggest mistake ever), golden Neptulon (kept but dusted when rotated out cause it's overrated), golden Aviana, golden Spiritsinger Umbra, golden Mimiron's Head (dusted).... And there are one or two I can't remember.
Had no idea the odds was only 5%... Maybe there is a pity timer for golden legendaries?
Nothing at launch but I suspect I'll craft DK Anduin if I don't get him. Play mainly Wild and he seems so strong in Wild. Might do DK Gul'dan too, as a Renolock player.
I bought around 115 packs so far (acoording to my collection: (838 cards - 266 free cards) / 5) and I opened two golden legendarys. Fist Genzo, the Shark, which I immediately dusted. And now after the pity timer patch a Bloodmage Thalnos.
The thing about probability is that people always seem to forget that extremely unlikely things do happen. It's entirely possible to open 5 golden legendaries in a single pack. It's like winning the lottery, but every time a lottery is held, someone does win.
But to stay on topic, I will not craft any golden cards ever. I care having the cards that I need to play the decks I want more than them being a bit prettier.

So I would say it's possible.
Oh, I see what you mean! The recent increased chances for a legendary and golden legendary in the first 10 packs of a set. Based on that, you are right. We all have a good chance for a golden.
What the others are saying is that outside of this golden legendaries are much rarer.
I don't see how The Lich King could possibly be bad, so I'm crafting him gold before I open any packs :) I will be opening 130 after that, and with >5000 dust, I'll be set!
Only other for sure craft is double Gnomeferatu to try out my Wild "Nightmare Millock" deck that made the front page!

The Lich King. I won't craft any golden card because I am f2p. There's no point in crafting golden cards. The only golden card I ever crafted was Ragnaros the Firelord because he was free and I had dust.
Even though I have a suspicion that after the meta stabilizes they may proof highly overrated I'm crafting the Lich king and Gul'dan first day.
I was already running a fun Krul deck since MSoG and the Dk looks like a perfect fit. As for the Lich King, there must always be the Lich King! Also the cards he gave you look so different from collectable cards, you just have to try and evaluate them for yourself
I'm going to craft Deathstalker Rexxar immediately after the launch because it looks like a lot of fun. If I had more dust, Uther and Gul'dan's DK would be good to.
I think it's going to be bad. An 8/8 taunt is nothing special, and only like 3/8 DK spells are actually playable.
But, what do I know? I'm going to insta-craft DK Jaina and Sindragosa. Probably also Skulking Geist, because I've got such a hate-boner for Jade Druid...
I will basically take whatever in the way of legendaries, Generally epics are the things I craft because they have interesting effects to combo and do craziness, I will be making a mill warrior and that has several epics so that will be where my dust goes.
Genuinely excited to try a bunch of stuff, and I might need to dust some things to be able to afford it depending on what I open. So I might dust the legendaries I get after I play a few decks with them if those decks aren't interesting enough.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Crafting a golden copy of The Lich King+ copies of every viable Legendary/ fun legendary (like Lyra+Elise/bloodbloom from Un'goro).
I am waiting a week or so with most crafting- just until the meta becomes stable (Un-including the golden The Lich King because I swore to craft him golden at the second he gets a card :) I'v been waiting for him to join HS since.. well since I began playing Hearthstone xD).
Step1: Craft Golden cards before opening packs for economical reasons.
Golden Uther of the Ebon Blade
Golden Bloodreaver Gul'Dan
I won't craft the best legendary of the set Hero Shaman (my opinion) because I dislike the playstyle.
Step2: Open packs.
Step3: Craft the missing legendaries. Never craft commons or rares. Never craft Classic cards.

Please don't tell my girlfriend about my card collection...
Depends on what I get in the packs I buy. I'll craft whatever card I'm missing to complete the decks I'll want to make at first.

The Might of Dalaran has Arrived!

Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.
I think I will craft Yogg and N'Zoth
Then some new cards that I don't get from packs..

Man, so many people are crafting the Lich King...

Fel Reaver so I can make this

Uther golden before I open or play the missions :)
