I'm sorry to add my own share to Druid-meta, but i'm 30 ladder wins from 1000 win and the 2nd Hero. I will stop in a week or so (I don't have any extra motivation to play HS atm).
The problems rise every time there is lots of game mechanics that doesn't have much effect by player actions. Like many of the combo-decks that makes it feel that one is playin solitaire and opponent is watching someone playing solitaire. Same thing when the power level with different decks/classes goes too wide.
Personally I dislike that many decks now have so much Rush minions. People were stating for a long time that Dr. Boom made all mechs Rush. The current meta has so many rush minions that any slower deck is challenging to play.
Runeterra feels different enough compared to HS and I can see both games as fresh change for each other.
Good thing I got my first and only Legend rank with Galakrond Warrior before these nerfs.
Cards like Dragon's Pack and Scion of Ruin are powerfull cards alone, but overpowered when buusted/comboed. Also Galakrond's Hero Power for Shaman and Warrior would need some tweeking imo. Priest Hero Power is just pure sh!t and would need some rework to get to same level with others.

Hearthstone is known of supporting (or even forcing) solitaire decks and this shouldn' t be surprise to anyone anymore.
