I've roped them in the beginning of season, now its just easier to crush them. only one ive lost to lately top decked mortal strike for lethal when i had lethal on board.
/edit: jade shaman is the worst offender. all they do is vomit super powerful cards on the board on curve and roll shaman luck with aoe/totems, pretty sure thats the deck on ladder that involved the least amount of skill
I haven't had a ton of success against Shaman, but the number of brainless Pirate Warrior noobs I've ran into is off the charts. Just today I made one concede on turn 3 while playing Taunt Warrior.
One of the positive of facing pirate warrior is that the games are short either way, youre punishing yourself as much as the other guy.
Seriously, this. They get a fast win/loss, you get a fast win/loss... and if you think about it, they're going to get roped one game while you're really just getting roped a bunch of times in one play session.
If you were playing the SAME Pirate Warrior/Shaman I think you could actually be successfully sending a message, but currently you're the irrelevant bump in the road on their path to more faces.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
First of all I would like to say I think it's a misconception that players are to blame for how strong aggro decks are. I believe the developers are to blame for how the meta plans out. I am very unhappy about the state of hearthstone right now, but I won't waste time roping players who pick the strongest decks in hearthstone. On the bright side I will most likely move on to my next match within 2 minutes, win or lose.
After I got my legend rank this season I've been pretty much avoiding standard ranked mode like the plague. Whether I moved on to wild or just played some arena. I find those modes are a lot more fun right now and you actually get to play matches instead of derp, draw and move on.
I do rope idiots who are dumb enough to play those brainless cancer decks in casual play. It's expected to see those kind of decks in ranked because people want fast and easy stars, but can someone really be having fun playing that garbage on casual for no purpose? They can all gtfo or play a 20 minute game cus I'll be roping every turn
Threads like these popup all the time. "I rope midrange Shaman", "I rope Secret Paladin", etc...
The people who do this have to be children that think the world actually gives a fuck about them and their petty actions. First of all you waste more of your time than the opponents. Second of all they might be doing something else while playing anyway and give no fucks about some child trying to piss them off for no reason. It just doesn't accomplish anything other than wasting your own time.
They want to win at all cost? Let them go. For some of them you're even feeding their brainless ego: "oh look, I tilted this guy, I'm such a pro"!
I'm not a troll and I quite enjoy too when pirate warriors start roping me after seeing Reno Jackson fall on the table, followed by a Mountain Giant + Sunfury Protector, or even a Faceless Shambler on Reno. They hate too my anti-blitzkrieg tactics, many of them rope me, I don't feel mad at all, I'm on the bright side of the force (playing the darkest of all classes xD )!

Ever thought that the roper may actually, in fact, have the time to waste?
I think it is just wasting your own time. I understand the frustration of losing to the same decks repeatedly. These people are truly the scum of video games. Playing unfun decks for the sake of winning and stroking your tiny ego in a virtual card game is bottom of the barrel stuff. You aren't proving your skill by doing what everyone else is doing, and you aren't going to Blizzcon if you somehow manage to hit legend with your netdeck.
If it truly bothers you, the best thing you can do is stop spending any real money on the game and quit playing it beyond doing dailies or hitting rank 20 for your cardback. The only thing that will force Blizzard to change the game is by seeing those numbers fall.
In any game at all, the most frustrating thing for me is when a game wastes my time.
Anyone who played the last part of The Witness knows what I mean.
So, even though I despise arggo warrior and shaman, I still wouldn't want to waste their time (or my own). Its just so frustrating and leaves no one happy. An Eye for an Eye leaves everybody blind.
this work pretty well for me, they get annoy and will make more mistake. and then they lose.
then they will add me as friend and i will reject.
satisfaction.

You're entitled to do it, it's a part of the game.
I personally rope back when someone does that for apparently no reason.

Dude there so many fun archetypes that could be played, and yet, i'm facing the same retards ~80% ot he time around rank 4.
I fully support your annoying the hell out of them, and delaying their fucking undeserved low ranks.

I've done it before on cancerous aggro decks. It's honestly one of the most satisfying things to do.
If you're lucky, they might even quit.

I'm roping the c'unt that is Mill Rogue as well
It's a waste of time.

LMAO I thought I was the only one. They waste my time with a braindead scrub deck, I waste theirs. Plain and Simple.
Only roping when i'm eating, watching favorite sports/movie, and reading ridiculous thread(s) like this.
