Aim to fatigue them first. Also play around AoE and Entomb. Most midrange and aggro deck players make lots of misplays, but in the end, you can win without prob.
Renolock/Handlock usually have a pretty good time, the only realistic way for them to kill you is Auchenai + Flash Heal wizardry, if they already burned those you just gotta get Jaraxxus. If you don't die to fatigue you should have won at that point.
From my experience is is control priest weak to druid, control warlock (once jaraxus is played priest has no chance), freeze mage and has no chance against murloc paladin.
I tried so ladder with control priest and most of my opponents were playing something i was bad against..
Honestly, unless you're playing Tempo Mage, Secret Pally, Zoo, or Patron, you should have no trouble beating Control Priest, as its remaining match-ups are almost all very poor. It seems like a lot of people are out there piloting the deck and do not really know what they are doing.
As people have rightly noted, combo decks all hard counter it. Midrange druid is a horrible match-up, as is Renolock. As Control Warrior, you should win; but get ready for a 45 minute game.
I just wanted to comment on the druid matchup. A competent priest against druid is a 50/50. If priest gets on the board early, druid has few if any ways to win the matchup. Priest has no trouble staying above 14 and generally double combo makes the druids hand clunky enough for priest to destroy druid in the early game. This matchup used to be a bit more druid favored, but now that living roots is popular, priest's early drops like Northshire, and chow eat up most early plays by a druid and can actually out tempo them.
Lord Jaraxxus can win by himself with np, only way i can win is with some crazy 15 dmg combo i dont have at turn 17.
Other one is Murloc Paladin who is pretty good at healing himself and board control, andd that otk combo at turn 10 and 11 i cant deal with.
And my biggest counter is when i have a shity draw like double Auchenai or circles, double Lightbomb and Entomb early on and no Flash Heals late game when out of 5 cards i cant get any... also no Deathlord or Beltcher
anyfin, controlewarriors and freezemage. Combodruid is favoured, but Not a counter, Patron is Strong vs dragoriests, but weak vs controlepriests cause Dragon has 1 lightbomb, controle has 2 and might Even run more Strong boardclears. What is an uncommon Deck but i ran it to Rank 1 Last Season is Dragoncontroledruid. It counters both Dragon and controlepriest and all controledecks. Simply because you have to Many Huge targets to take care of all of them and you have Tons of minions with more life than attack and big taunts.
But the biggest counter to controlepriest is it s Owen inconsistent earlygame. Your earlycards Are all somehow unreliant, if you can't use them and already take to much dmg early you Will habe a Bad Time Taking back the Board.
Omg, people, why do you all create the same threads instead of just googling? That's so annoying, that lots of people can't just google something like TempoStorm or LiquidHearth or someone's else meta snapshots and check, which decks are counters for any meta deck.
I've never really trusted TempoStorm for matchups. From week to week, matchups will end up swinging significantly while the decks will barely change at all outside of a couple tech choices. It's too anecdotal.
I'd go with freeze, as a freeze player I rejoice when I see a priest, probably higher than 90% vs any kind of priest
It's a good matchup, but it certainly isn't 90% after priest got Entomb. Before that I would say it was at least something like 80%, but now with Entomb, Justicar Trueheart and double Flash Heal I'd put it at about 65% if both players know what they're doing.
Priest is a piece of cake As freeze. Just yesterday i won hard even though i got Alex via Deathlord (wasn't Anke to attack with her) and he had justicar quite early. LoE Not only brought priestcards, torch brought Tons of cheap burst to freezemage.

What's the hardest control/dragon priest counter?
Closed Beta Player: 19/8/2013 (NA)/ 5/9/2013 (EU)--- Golden Card Count: 243 (Legendary: 10)
CDC 3.15: Jesus, Our Saviour | 6 Mana Neutral Legendary Minion 6/5 | "Deathrattle: Re-Summon Jesus, Our Saviour at the start of your third turn." |
I've seen hundreds of them this season, God knows why..

Usually my handlock with jaraxxus can deal with this kind of priest, dealing with 6/6 every turn is not easy
If you want to counter both, control warrior. Just don't give him good entomb targets, and build up lots of armor.

Handlock 95% winrate

Murloc Pala and every other combo deck is devastating for control priest.
Once you know how it play it murloc pally can almost neber lose this matchup.

I've been beating Control Priests with my Reno Warrior pretty often. Fatigue is the only way. Justicar/Reno says hello.
Always Squelch.
