How is this an anti aggro tool? It gets rekt by every aggro taunt and doesn't generally get a lot of value. This is a charge you play with things like blessing of might to use as a tougher to remove wolf rider.
well it's blocked by Voidwalker but i have rarely seen taunt in aggrodin never in facehunter, and zoolock is more about controlling the board and then dealing face dmg than pure face
Face is a type of aggro not the only aggro. Zoo is often considered a tempo deck, but tempo is also generally a type of aggro as its purpose is in racing the opponent and not sitting back and waiting to make a push.
It's a combination of cards that are too bad to see constructed play. I'm just tired of thinking, "sigh, maybe in arena" after reveal. I want to be wowed like I was in previous expansions.
You could say "this is a harvest golem with charge". Okay, that's interesting. Nobody plays Harvest Golem, but that's interesting.
"It's a neutral smite with a 2/1 body for 1". Well, nobody plays Smite really or Bluegill unless it's a Murloc deck. Ok.
"It's half an Argent Commander." Well that card hasn't been played in over a year.
"It's a 2/1 with a battlecry: deal 2 damage", only worse because it gets stopped by taunts.
Is it awful? No, not as terrible as the other reveals. Is it exciting? Not at all. Blizzard seems to just be combining 2 keywords and putting them on a mana cost that doesn't have that effect yet, and it's boring. Show me more interesting stuff like Stampeding Kodo, Aldor Peacekeepers, Imp Master, Loatheb, Zombie Chow. I want to see unique effects and things that only be done in the digital space instead of safe and fair cards that are essentially side-grades to existing cards -/+ a tribal tag or vulnerability to silence.
Honestly not that bad of a card for an aggro deck. Comparing it to Wolfrider, which does 3 damage to the face when it's played, this card only does 2. However, Wolfrider is easily taken out by pretty much any source, from small minions to hero powers. The divine shield on Argent Horserider forces your opponent to use 2 forms of removal on one card, and if they can't get rid of it they'll take another 2 damage next turn, thus essentially dealing 4 damage. Plus when used against aggro decks like many mentioned already, it can take out a Knife Juggler and still live, potentially shutting out your opponent's next turn and giving you momentum. Of course the problem with using this card in an aggro deck is the mana cost, and as aggro decks rely heavily on 1 and 2 drops, swapping out a card or two for this may not be too great of an idea. Overall, it's not too bad of a card, and could possibly be seen as a substitute to Wolfrider.
Is good card vs Aggro, but bad vs Control decks (CW, Priest, Freeze Mage, Midrange Paladin, Handlock, ...)
I actually quite like it against control in aggro paladin. The divine shield prevents ping and spell kills and allows it to stick around for buffs while also getting a quick 2 damage of charge.
I think it's 1 mana to high to be relevant in constructed. 2 mana 2/1 with charge and divine shield would see play. Decent arena card. Tho there is a lack of neutral tempo 3 drops so who knows.

But then it would be overpowered and powercreeping multiple cards.

3 cards with divine shield all in 1 week? could blizzard be hinting at a proper divine shield archetype as a whole...or did it just line up that there happened to be 3 divine shield minions this week?
This is your conductor speaking. We unfortunately had a hype trail boiler breakdown due to a Demonfuse. However, the local Argent Horserider has fixed it and the hype train is back on!

Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
This card seems fine, but not really exciting, it will see some play, at least in arena. Most likely budget laddering and Divine Shield gimmick decks. (I am guilty of playing on quite a lot.)
I'd say this might be the most exited I've been for a really plain card.
Kill a 2 health, and keep a 2/1 body. Pretty good deal, considering charge in any other scenario is more-so a damage spell.

This is the most fair card Ive ever seen. I love it.
I Designed A Card This Week
So theyre basically going to give aggro no tools outside of a few shitty choices.
Cool in my book
I love it.

The Grand Tournament: decent arena card
That should be the tagline.

half the cost of Argent Commander for half the stats, seems reasonable.
When can I expect my royalties blizzard? =)

In fact, it's even cheaper then Argent, because Argent pays way more stats for the charge and shield. 7 stats for a 4/2 vs 4 stats for a 2/1.

It's half and Argent Commander.
Nice tempo card. Will see play. I can see it being used in Oil Rogue with very satisfying results.
This could be cool if you have Flametongue Totem on the board. Otherwise... no idea. Can't figure it out.
Great for proccing traps i suppose.
My comments refer mostly to the wild format.
