has anyone else found that ironbeak owl completely wins games and tends to find its way into almost every teir one deck. I myself play it all the time and it feels like it is a lot stronger than just a common. thoughts?

No, it's not OP at all. Very balanced card. It is a basic silence that comes with a body. Nothing to write home about if you get this in your opening hand. Most decks will not use 2x of these unless they are trying to break through taunts. It is highly situational, but works great when you need a cheap silence. Silencing abilities is a core part of the game, so I think Ironbeak and Spellbreaker are well balanced, common cards.
What? It is a silence and yes there are enough clutch moments where the Owl allows you to bypass the final taunt or lets you ignore the Sylvanas or whatever that is blocking your way.
Is it OP? No it is useful in a meta where you have taunts like the Belcher (it is just so much more powerful than other taunts) and other deathrattle minions and less useful in a battlecry / zoo meta where you can't silence anything important.
I wouldn't say it is OP, I mean it costs 2 mana, which is the right amount for removing nothing from the board.
But man, that River Crocolisk, though... I mean, what were they thinking? It seriously needs some rethinking because it wins just an insane amount of games. Even yesterday, I played a mage, 9th round I'm at around 23 HP, then he drops a River Crocolisk, I conceded right then and was raging for hours. But how could I have came back from that? It is an unfair advantage that card gives.
I don't know if he just lost 2 games in a row from it but, Ironbeak Owl was always op and always will be.
Of course it will not get nerfed, but it makes so many other cards useless and is auto include in most decks. Or "if you don't have that legendary get owl in there"
Now tell me another card who can silence with 1 mana(don't tell me priest Silence with 0 joke), is a creature (and beast=even more op in hunter),
and it's common.
Yes, it doesn't really matter, we all know that. The point is the card is overpowered and it's a fact unless you don't know what overpowered means.
I dont think that the guy who made this thread, and many of the people in it, understand why many people are mentioning Ironbeak owl.
Cards arent nerfed only because "omfg, they're op", but they're also nerfed for other reasons. for example: Master of Disguise was mentioned by someone from Blizzard sometime ago as a problematic card because it limmits their design space.
What Ironbeak owl does is it's killing card text, and for one 2 mana card with any body to do that is a bit limmiting to other cards. for example: Why play The Black Knight when you can just Ironbeak owl? The problem is with the effect, it's too broad, it's 2 mana to delete any text, it kills the variety and the fun. Same, roughly, can be said about Big Game Hunter. The problem of BGH isnt the body, the problem is that people who make decks with big minions in them have to choose only minions who give them a lot of value (for their 6+ spent mana) right away.

let me change your mind...
Yeah, a 2/1 minion with silence is OP.
God these threads keep getting worse
Currently very useful, but op? No, I dont think so. Poor owl will go away again with another meta change :(
People think if they lose 2 games in a row because of a card it's OP. No reason playing around anything, Blizzard obviously designed the game poorly
GUYS WHY IS WISP SO OP??
i really like it. a very useful card that can be put in any deck.

I will feed this troll. but If I see another "Undertaker is OP and needs to be nerfed" thread I will lose my s$%&!

Owl is a must in any control deck that can't affor silence via their class card (Warlock, Warrior, Paladin, Mage)
Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.

nah, not OP at all. Actually needs a buff. 1/2 owl ftw

Wouldnd confuse me to see silence on the rework list for Standard thought.
