Decent synergy with the new rogue legendary obviously. I imagine it will feel quite bad if you dont draw the rogue legendary in time. Will probablh see fringe play
I feel like the timing of this reveal after Anka, the Buried is for the designers to be like "hey, btw guys, its going to be a lot harder for us to make deathrattle cards now that this thing exists so just a heads up." Expect Anka to spike in powerlevel in her last few months in rotation as the designers pump out all the broken death rates they were holding back for a year and a half.
Not terrible. Fine in arena. I could see this filling a similar niche to Derranged Doctor in constructed, where if want a big deathrattle to cheat out it's a good option.
While I don't think that this card will become the meta, I think that there is an interesting Jank opening for a Stonetusk Boar + Southsea Deckhand OTK after playing Anubisath Warbringer + Necrium Vial. If you can drop a Necrium Vial on this and trade it off, you can give each minion in your hand +9/+9, which means that you can OTK with 3 chargers. If you play Anka, the Buried, you can reduce the cost of this card to 4, which lets you play the Necrium Vial on the same turn you play the warbringer.
Damn, this card is really, really bad. No immediate impact on turn 9 when you really need to be do something proactive to swing the board back in your favor if you're losing. You're also not going to have many minions in hand to buff at this point unless your deck is way to greedy. Way too often stats just aren't going to be relevant this late into a game.
Do you honestly think it's a good idea to put this in an Anka, the Buried deck when it's so awful on its own? You are not going to find Anka half the time, in which case playing Anubisath Warbringer just loses the game for you.
You might take this as a discover off of Myra Rotspring, but only if your hand is pretty full. It's hard to imagine the other two choices being worse than this.

wow
Not good, yet not bad either
Anka synergy. Great more ways for rogue to ruin my day
Myra Rotspring Got a buff
also, Anka, the Buried
Good arena card...or for a cancer deathrattle deck
Hir'eek, the Bat Meta?

Turn 5 Anka
Turn 6 This + Necrium Vial + Backstab = +9/+9 to your hand
GG.

Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
Handbuff usually sucks -- check.
REALLLLY slow -- check.
Terrible stat line -- check.
No immediate board impact -- check.

Very good if u have all ZERO cost minions in hand!! lol
Edit: DEATHRATTLE, not good anymore!!
In Wild with 1 Empeor tick, Deathbite + Grom+ the new 3/3 copy = full 30 damage
In Standard if this buff grommash then The Coin + Grom + Inner Rage + new 3/3 = full 30 damage
Or you can play a Dr. Boom control deck and have a better winrate than that deck will ever have. Thus the dichotomy of hero cards.
If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
In Wild Dr.Boom is a joke. CW beging out valued badly in Wild. You need 30 dmg burst to win vs class like Hunter, Priest, Warlock
All i see is 1/1 for 1 mana, give your minions in your hand +3/+3.
