In Wild with 1 Empeor tick, Deathbite + Grom+ the new 3/3 copy = full 30 damage
In Standard if this buff grommash then The Coin + Grom + Inner Rage + new 3/3 = full 30 damage
Or you can play a Dr. Boom control deck and have a better winrate than that deck will ever have. Thus the dichotomy of hero cards.
In Wild Dr.Boom is a joke. CW beging out valued badly in Wild. You need 30 dmg burst to win vs class like Hunter, Priest, Warlock
You need to read up on some data, a card that even in Wild is consistently 56-63 ish percent winrate percentage, if you think that's a joke I got nothing for you, you are gonna debase any argument to pointlessness.
Tl;dr when you read data is tell you how good cards are on a grand scale, not relative to your narrow opinion.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Someone mentioned Anka synergy, which is true - it's a strong deathrattle for sure. That said, without something tricky like that (and it's tough to rely on 1-copy legends for any sort of strat), it's a 9 cost that doesn't do anything immediately - which is basically not good enough for constructed. In arena where things are slightly more lenient, the fact is that by the time you get to drop this very often you won't have many/any minions in your hand (need at least 1 for it to be above-curve stats, and at least 2 for it to be good+) - never mind if it's a topdeck (there are far worse topdecks than a 9/6, but the deathrattle is going wanting in that case).
Just doesn't seem very good no matter how you spin it, even with such a strong deathrattle.
Looks like garbage. Way too slow and the opponent can just kill you because you spent 9 mana doing nothing. Might be okay with Anka, Barnes, or Jepetto though.
Yeah, graal could actually fit very nicely into big deathrattle rogue now. Imagine making it a 1/1 for one mana with anka, and then it becomes a 1 mana 10/8 or 9/9. Thats kinda great
Yeah it’s a problem isn’t it? If they make the power level of one card way too high they effectively limit their design space and can’t bring in any new fun cards that are in any way related to that OP card until it’s gone haha.
Am I the only one who thinks this card is great? I could see control/bomb warriors cutting archivist for warbringer because it can be played on curve turn 9. If it lives, you take 9 face per turn, if it dies, you simply outvalue your opponent with much bigger minions, especially mechs with rush. This will be used in several combo decks as well with charge minions, especially 9/5 Leeroy+faceless.
I feel like the timing of this reveal after Anka, the Buried is for the designers to be like "hey, btw guys, its going to be a lot harder for us to make deathrattle cards now that this thing exists so just a heads up." Expect Anka to spike in powerlevel in her last few months in rotation as the designers pump out all the broken death rates they were holding back for a year and a half.

Hand buff wasnt good for tempo anyway It's slow because it's combo intended, and you a combo card isnt meant for immediate impact statline work in favor of getting rid of the body, else getting hit for a good chunk
Should be a rogue card. Only class that will see any real value out of it with the new legendary. Maybe hunter with all thier deathrattle triggers but I dont see it. Lots of potential in wild with things like Kel, n zoth, umbra, barns and the like.

What data ? In Wild no one bother play Warrior unless they are hardcore Warrior player like me
At the time DK Rexxar Guldan and Jaina still in Standard at Boomsday, Odd Warrior is the only viable Warrior deck to counter aggro but auto lose in other control matchup. So dont even bring Wild to the table for me.
This actually conflicts with Anka. You reduce all of your deathrattle minions to 1 cost 1/1. But then this card will buff them up which completely counters the whole point of what Anka is trying to do.
So you are trying to combo this out with non deathrattle cards with Charge, maybe? I dunno, you either play Anka for the combo potential with Mech'thun, and this card is nowhere in that deck.
Yeah I am not sure about this card. Seems like a really good tech card against that new Hunter card 'Dirty Rat 2.0'.
I don't think you ever "play" this card. However I feel like some sort of Doll master, Betrug, Plot Twist shenanigans that culminates in Rafaam replacing the ones you never played from hand will happen.
20/14 on turn 5 if you haven't drawn any anub yet (chance is about 66 %).
Good in arena

Feels like a card that you dont play directly . You need to trick it out with stuff like Alarm-o-Bot, Barnes, or Jepetto, Myra Rotspring.
Looks like a win more card or loose more since you try to use 1 specific combo over an entire deck.
My current mage deck (wild,reno,otk,highlander)
My current hunter deck (wild,reno,highlander)
"The game is dead"

will be too slow for sure but might be fun in a Da undatakah paladin deck with immortal prelates

Wtf?
The art of anubis is a visual delight
the card itself isn't good 9 mana 9/6 with buffing hand death rattle, but if u put into death rattle rogue becomes insanely good

I call shenanigans!!!

Shenanigans!!!
Too slow, only really good with the rogue legendary.
I would agree that it does seem possibly decent in a plot twist deck... Perhaps allowing an earlier tempo win.
