In a mid/control warlock this could work. A warlock that works like the keleseth big spell mage could be something. With jaina you spende the game “buffing” alanna by casting spells and this works similarly (and should be easier and faster to buff). Could be something like lots of demons from flame imp to voidlord with skull, void analyst, soul infusion, dk, omega agent and some other cards from this exp that support the handbuff thing. Could see this work
Well, let's assume you managed to hit it with Soul Infusion twice. You can fill your board with 5/5s on turn 8. Let's see how it goes...
- Your opponent is Aggro. You summon a board full of 5/5s without Taunt and die next turn.
- Your opponent is Control. You summon a board full of 5/5s into a board clear and your opponent gets a 1 for 3 or 2 for 3 trade (you spent 2 cards to buff it, remember?).
- Your opponent is Combo. Which probably means that he is a Mage and will freeze your board until he assembles his combo, while you can't even play Loatheb because your board is full. Or that he is a Druid with double Spreading Plague and a ton of armor, so he will probably assemble his combo while your bats are fighting his scarabs. Or that he is a Rogue with Vanish, so you will have a hand full of 8 mana 1/1s next turn...
this card's really good. It's not absurdly broken like Voidlord or Bloodreaver Gul'dan , but this card is insane value. If you get +2 on this, which isn't too hard, you're getting a board that will usually win the game if it lives. And if they clear it, they usually use a good chunk of their turn and most decks don't run too many board clears, so 1 card eating a clear is great!
I think Omega Agent is just better, but I don't mind this card. Until Bloodreaver Gul'dan rotates I'm fine with Warlock not getting anything over-powered.
All of y'all seem to be forgetting, that Keleseth still exist with keleseth it instantly becomes playable, getting a soul infusion on it with the keleseth buff is officially a win condition by itself, because that 4 health threshold is very hard to deal with for most decks. That and the spirit of the bat I can see being run in heal lock as a 1 of, will help this card out a lot. It's basically a dragon caller alana for zoo warlocks.
I’m guessing we’ll see some other minor handbuff options for a new hand lock variation, but it will be another set or 2 before we see the card that makes this crazy

True that.

Double Soul Infusion for a Alanna in Zoolock. Even just with a few hits from the Bat Spirit this is powerful.
Guess they're really pushing Zoolock
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Well this need support to be good otherwise bad

If you are able to buff it this card will be totally broken.
Playing this card through buffing with "Spirit of the Bat"
Probably really inconsistent to land, but highlight worthy
"Because I'm Batman!"
Zoolocks play Soulfire.. have fun discarding a buffed Hireek because a 8 mana card stays some turns in your hand.
This cards needs more support and will most likely end up in a midrange warlock deck with Omega Agents but hardly in the current zoolock decks
For 1 mana more you get an 8/8
Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!

Boring card for a boring game.
Soul Infusion essentially gives this card +14/+14. Something to consider.
There has to be more handbuff coming, right? Keleseth is rotating out soon.
