maybe a shocker to many players here, but i can't say it otherwise
Sylvanas Windrunner never seems to do anything of worth. Sure, for the occasional big dude and you killing your own sylvanas, but how often does that really happen? i didn't even bother to include it in any deck for months & whenever i did before that it didn't do the job either. most often you play it when you're considerably behind and get smacked in the face regardless. the only reason i didn't consider disenchanting it yet is that it's such an iconic character and i can't bring myself to do it
Definitely Countess Ashmore. I crafted her thinking she'd be great but I have yet to find a deck where she shines and now I never use her. Maybe she'll find a good home after a future expansion is released.
I found her in pack during the first day and I also hope she'll shine someday. If she won't, well 400 dust aren't that bad tho

she'll get there for sure in the future, i wouldn't disenchant her yet

This card and The Curator need a massive pool of cards to work, the problem is:
1- In Standard you have a max of 6 expansions to work with and the 3 Keywords need to have a least 2 really good cards to draw with her to be value enough, become more close to that with Zilliax, one more very good rush and lifesteal and the card will be great.
2- In Wild, 7 manas 6/6 draw 3 cards is garbage in a format the opponent is playing a combo and killing you before you have the chance to play this minion or a turn after that, massive nerfs need to be done to make Wild playable again.

I'm trying to collect all the cards so disenchanting isn't something that I do. I'm down to 49 cards that I don't have at least 1 copy of. 33 legendaries and 16 epics.

I actually played The Curator quite a bit when it was in standard. I guess the fact that it had taunt made all the difference.
I don't think I have ever over rated a card really. Maybe the rogue secrets, thought they would be a bit better but they really easy to play around. I did think Ultimate Infestation was trash the first time I saw it, but then again it wasn't easy to judge. Up until that point games were ending often before turn 10. I thought Uther of the Ebon Blade was a game changer. Like a real way for paladin to win control v control, but then Blizzard decided to make infinite value and otk bullshit and control decks face dived off a cliff.
I saw a post about Sylvanas,i get it,it was mostly used in control priest/warrior when exodia decks werent a case.Besides these two its trash in other classes..
But i also saw a post about Reno Jackson..I mean seriously? One of the most meta defining cards of all times if you ask me.Just as much as Jade idol.
i would love to play sylvanas again, but i play odd control warrior instead and in priest i found better solutions then her, so after all where in the balls are you happy to play her then? it was (very) good then, but by now there are so many different approaches and playarounds that seem way more consistent
I thought Professor Putricide was going to be really oppressive in secret hunter, because it would be really hard to remove while it was protected by all the secrets it would generate. Turns out it's too slow in generating a lot of secrets and it gets removed by a lot of spells pretty easily.
I really had my hopes on DK Uther. 9 mana heal 10, 5 damage removal, and 10 more heals? Plus a 2/2 hero power? Yes please. But Healadin just doesn't see support. Still looks pretty flashy.

I actually like her, admittedly got her for free, and the deck she shines in isn't too strong but incredibly fun (and she's actually one of the core pieces): Control/Emeriss Hunter. Here is the idea:
Use Emeriss to buff all 3, creating 8/12 scalehides and 8/10 applebaum
She's sort of like Kathrena, great glue for a deck that enables her power to shine but weak by itself. Unfortunately, Control Hunter hasn't been able to shine yet like Recruit Hunter has.

Sylvanas was OP back in time because There's no many answers could be played ..
Stampede. I didn't have much dust back then (started HS as F2P during MSoG launch), but crafted this epic (only 1 of, though) during 1st week of Ungoro, thinking it was broken and a safe craft. Played with it in my Midrange Hunter for at least a month before I finally accepted that no, it was not a good card, and I should replace it with a better card. Eh, still had so good moments with it, occasionnally.
Also Chameleos, a bit. I thought it was broken and would be the best card in WW. Turns out it's a good card, but not as OP as I imagined. Did not craft it though, as I do not play much Priest.
Dragon Soul maybe?
Wait... why... are you... what?
Tar Lord I thought it was like super wall for quest warrior. But after I tried it I have cut it myself...
I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius

exactly... what? staple of Control Warrior
Glass Knight. Still not diesenchanting though, I still like to use it in my decks, even if it isn't the strongest.

Uther of the Ebon Blade
I still put it in just about every deck, but the win condition and 2/2 doesn't seem like enough to put the card in.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
