Kinda shows how OP Mysterious Challenger was. 6 mana 6/6 to put 5 Secrets into play, as opposed to 4 mana 3/4 which only puts in 2, and one of them is delayed. Even at that, this still isn't that bad. This would probably be played if a Standard Secret Paladin existed at the moment.
However, after rotation we only have 4 Paladin Secrets available in Standard (Eye for an Eye, Redemption, Repentance, Noble Sacrifice), not counting a possible fifth one to be revealed later. If it ends up not seeing play, I don't think it will be because the card isn't good enough but rather the Secret pool isn't good enough. I don't think this would get played in Wild either because Mysterious Challenger fulfills the same purpose better.
why is everyone thinking, this would bring back secret paladin?
No, it won‘t.
this card is quite solid, however, first of a 4mana 3/4 should have a strong battlecry, it has. So thats good gaining 2 secrets from the deck is pretty strong, however to begin with why would you ever do at least 4 garbage secrets in your deck, to make use of a good(NOT OP) card.
So this, wherever you play thos, makes you fill your deck with garbage cards. Do you want this?
No.
So first this might seem strong however since it is in Paladin with the worst secrets it becomes not very good anymore
people are overating this card. its a good card yes, but 4 mana 3/4 and a weaker battlecry than MC, which doesnt see play in wild, which is most decks are 90% standard cards. and what secret do you use with this? no avenge, and i believe competitive spirit is rotating out aswell
Dunno, I don't think that this can be compared to Mysterious Challenger. As people already mentioned - the standard secrets (for now) are bad and you don't want to dilute your deck with them. Hydrologist is way better, because you get a decent early-game body on the board (Dark Peddler) and you can choose the outcome of the battlecry according to your needs. Paladin secrets cost 1 mana, so you rarely have an issue with playing the secret from hand.
The strength of this card is that it comes 2 turns earlier than MC, but the effect just doesn't look important enough to justify its usage. This card would have been way better in hunter and broken in mage, because the secrets in those two classes have a higher quality and it's worth to play cards that cheat them out like Mad Scientist.
Nope... the Mysterious Challenger comparison is way off... and to make this understated card work, you gotta run Paladin secrets... not worth it in standard.
Mysterious challenger was OP for one and only one reason : Avenge.
Bellringer Sentry will not see any play unless they reveal a secret as good as avenge, or a secret synergy cards.
Also, for consistency if you play 2 bellringer, you want to play at LEAST 4 secrets, more like 6 secrets. That's really bad with the secrets available in standard next rotation, paladin does not have 3 good secrets that you want 2 of your deck.
And a quick reminder that in wild, mad scientist doesn't see play in secret paladin, and neither will this. They make Mysterious challenger weaker and that's not good.
It's a bit more nuanced than that. If mysterious challenger only pulled avenge, it would not be good at all. It was the interplay of all the paladin secrets together and how hard it was to play around them all at once that made the card work. I'd say the other secrets played their part as well.
Needless to say that this card will not play anything like Mysterious challenger in standard OR wild. However, I do think the card has a lot of potential. It works better in a deck with fewer secrets. It is also really relevant that this can be played two turns earlier. It kind of depends what (if any) secret they will release with this.
It is in no way as good as Mysterious Challenger was. That one enabled incredibly strong synergy of absording attack, resurrecting a minion, buffing a minion and giving your entire board +1/+1. If you had a small minion or two on the board when it was played, the game was usually sealed.
This one, on the other hand, pulls a single secret, most of which are good only in specific cases. Classic secrets are pretty weak for Paladin, perhaps with the exception of Redemption. But you would want to combo it with a strong Deathrattle or Divine Shield, so pulling it out of the deck randomly is pretty bad. Unless a new very strong Secret is revealed, this card is pretty overrated for Standard. Even in Wild it has potential to screw over your Mysterious Challenger turns, so its inclusion into that deck is also debatable.
Bad version of mysterious challenger. Challenger sees almost no play in wild right now.
I think this card is bad because you have to put low value secrets in your deck. If this card read that you get a secret but not from your deck it'll be pretty good.
I enjoy.
How does this card make sense thematically? Why does a bellringer sentry put secrets in play?
Finally, like just a solid card. Not OP, not broken, just solid card advantage baked into a single card. Wish we had more stuff like this

Freezemage was the best deck ever!

I won't bear another secret paladin meta Blizzard.
Strong card.
But paladin have a lot of strong 4 drops so I doubt it will make the cut.

Now all this need is the following secret :D
I guess they are trying to revive secret paladin, but Im not sure this will happen, because the current secrets in standard are not that good...

Carpe Diem - Seize the day
The card is solid but there aren't that many secrets worth playing in standard. I voted playable.
Top deck is cheat
Great card. Will definitely see play if non-aggro pally is a thing. You cam even get the same secret twice since it's on a deathrattle.
