Mysterious challenger this is not. Paladin secrets work when they synergize off each other. Getting only 1 at a time, whilst sacking deck space isn't great
The one secret that makes secret paladin dangerous is Avenge . Of course, it works mainly in conjunction with teh other secrets, but this is the one secret that gives you suddenly a 9+ damage board.
Mad scientist never saw play in Paladin because the secrets aren't making enough impact. With the present secrets, I do not think you want to have the risk of drawing them before this card can be played. And on turn 4, you want to play call to arms (which then increases the chance of drawing a secret). To make this playable, Paladin needs a better secret.
people are overating this card. its a good card yes, but 4 mana 3/4 and a weaker battlecry than MC, which doesnt see play in wild, which is most decks are 90% standard cards.
This is completely incorrect. Secret Paladin is one of the strongest decks in Wild at the moment.
I think this card is probably good enough because it packs a fair amount of value. Like MC before it, I wonder if it packs enough value to justify playing secrets in your deck. Obviously, in the case of MC, that answer was yes. We'll have to see if a 3/4 for 2 secrets is enough.
Pretty crazy card. Paladin is really running with the theme of being extremely powerful tempo-wise, but running out of cards way faster than other classes.
Kind of cute that if you run Redemption this card can put up to 3 secrets in play.
Say all you want about how MC was only good because of the chain of secrets...those were all busted AF and even if you just put Redemption and Noble Sacrifice into play, one at a time, IMO that will be good enough because those cards are good but fair.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I voted playable bordering on bad. The stats are not what you want to pay four mana for. Putting paladin secrets into your deck is usually a bad idea, and if this card is silenced you are going to be very sad, but not as sad as if you were to draw the secrets before playing this guy. Really, the thing this guy needs above all else is a secret worth including. Something like avenge. If we get a powerful secret like that, then this card's value goes way up. I think Mysterious Challenger is a bad comparison, as he put all the secrets into play at once and that made playing around them very difficult if not impossible at times. I am open to being wrong like always. My opinion isn't an attack on the card or people excited to play it. I am looking forward to trying it out.
Bad version of mysterious challenger. Challenger sees almost no play in wild right now.
I think this card is bad because you have to put low value secrets in your deck. If this card read that you get a secret but not from your deck it'll be pretty good.
Please go research the topic of deck thinning and present a 500-word essay by the end of the week.

Noble Sacrifice and Redemption (especially with Righteous Protector) are both basically playable. It adds some bad late-game topdecks, but seems feasible.
If you just run this with two Noble Saccs and two Redemptions you get one of the stickiest minions ever. 50% of the time it revives when killed, and 25% of the time it will revive twice before dying the third time. even outside of those options it delays it's own death by pulling Nobel Saccs out. This is an extremely potent stopgap in the face of aggro, and even if they ignore it when the secret is redemption, then it's just saved for an actual taunt they do have to deal with twice. The best thing is due to the delays, redeeming a noble sacc happens nearly never.(You p much have to trade this bad boy in yourself to get that result)
Sure won't save your life from lethal or near lethal, but on curve it likely will give your opponent hell in trying to get just through it's effect. Arguably it's biggest weakness is that it's statted defensively, a 4/3 would be just as good vs aggro just by it's effect alone while also making it a much bigger pain for slower decks.
And it's all this with just the currenly known secrets(no way is Paladin not getting one when a Discover a Secret is still a relevant mechanic and now only has 4 options). Frankly though, I doubt it will be a better secret than Redemption+Noble Sacc is for this, adding a third would just dilute the combo.
Good point, I like it a lot more now, even though I'd still rather just not have to put Secrets in my deck in the first place :P

True. 3 mana 2/4 Damn, of course it is a 3/4 for 4 with a deathrattle „resummon this with 1 health“ sounds okaygood. I don’t know if you actually want noble sac to make it 50/50 or you play just redemption. but still, 4 mana is a lot and late as well.

Anyone who played during TGT, knows this card is going to be strong asfuck
Well I think we all remember how good mysterious challenger was/is don't we. lol, this card bringing back secret paladin to standard again maybe.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
I like this card, just need to get a good secret revealed and this will see play.

Obviously not as good as Mysterious Challenger was but still, it has some potential

Bringing Secret Paladin back from the grave
I'm thinking in wild this will allow a new secret paladin archetype to curve into King Togwaggle just as it runs out of cards in the deck.

"bat shit crazy" card could be nuts!
