My reasoning for this is the interaction between Prince Keleseth and Master Oakheart. If you play Prince Keleseth he will make all of your cards in deck get +1/+1. Master Oakheart will no longer recruit minions that are originally stated at 3 attack as they now have 4 attack after Prince's Buff is applied. He will recruit minions in your deck like Doomsayer if they have the buff as they went from 0 attack to 1 attack.
Now this interaction is inconsistent with the Crystal Core and Master Oakheart interaction. If you play Crystal Core from The Caverns Below you will notice that when a minion is drawn its attack and health changes to 5 in your hand. This would imply that when it is in the deck it is originally stated. If you play Master Oakheart he will recruit minions that are originally stated at 1 attack, 2 attack, and 3 attack. Once they hit the field they immediately become 5/5s. This is consistent with the animation but not consistent with Prince Keleseth.
Interestingly enough we have a third interaction in the form of Frost Lich Jaina and Elementals. After Frost Lich Jaina is played the Elementals in the battlefield gain Icy Veins which gives Elementals Lifesteal. This is a permanent buff that can't be silenced off like Crystallized from Crystal Core. Strangely Elementals in hand after playing Frost Lich Jaina do not ever show Lifesteal in the text box. This is inconsistent with Crystallized from Crystal Core which does buff cards in hand.
It would appear that we have 3 different types of auras.
Prince Keleseth that applies to battlefield, hand, and deck. Buff can be silenced.
Crystallized from Crystal Core that applies to battlefield and hand only. Buff can not be silenced.
Icy Veins from Frost Lich Jaina that applies to only the battlefield. Buff can not be silenced.
Given the above inconsistencies It is probably impossible to tell how Countess Ashmore should interact with Kingsbane buffed by Leeching Poison until the expac actually launches.
Both Jaina and Crystal are aura based abilities, similar to stormwind champion and dire wolf alpha. The difference being that the auras are not bond to minions so you can't remove them.
While prince and lady are battlecries, that apply buffs to cards in you deck, which can be removed. In a way they can be likened to paladin buff cards which change the hand card stats.
On a side note jaina's aura affects only the board while crystal aura affects board and hand. So there really isn't any inconsistancy.
So then would you agree that Ashmore should pull both a Kingsbane buffed with lifesteal and a voodoo doll?
Yes (unless it checks both buffs on Kingsbane alone, and stop there).
But that has nothing to do with DK Jaina and Crystal Core. Their inconsistency is another problem entirely, about auras. And auras so far never apply to decks.
So I was play testing a few interactions currently in the game to see what Countess Ashmore should draw when Witchwood releases, specifically Kingsbane buffed by Leeching Poison and Voodoo Doll.
When Kingsbane is buffed with Leeching Poison it shows in hand as having Lifesteal. Since Countess draws a Lifesteal, Rush, and deathrattle card it should in theory draw both Kingsbane and Voodoo Doll since one became a deathrattle/ Lifesteal card and the other is battlecry/ deathrattle card.

I suspect Lady in White should act like Prince Keleseth but who knows.

Its very clear in the text though, if you dont see the word "deck" then its usually an aura on the board.
That doesn't explain the difference between Crystallized and Icy Veins. We have three different types of auras not two.

I love the first 3 generations of Yugioh
Yes but why does Jaina's aura only effect the board while Crystal Core affects board and hand?
They are worded almost identically "For the rest of the game, your **** are **" and "Your **** have **** this game
From Ashmore point of view, inconsistency between Crystal and Jaina is not important.
Crystal and Jaina both apply auras that do not alter your deck, while Ashmore checks only what is in your deck.
PS: keleseth is a mass deck buff, not an aura.
icy veins is only a board aura, crustal core affects your hand and board, and keleseth only the deck.
the only incosistend thing is the wording of jaina and crystal core keleseth works as intended and is clear by the card text.
I think they moght patch it at some point to include where the aura applies.
So then would you agree that Ashmore should pull both a Kingsbane buffed with lifesteal and a voodoo doll?
Isn't the fact that icy veins and crystal core are both auras that act in different ways an inconsistency?
I can understand Keleseth acting differently but those two auras seem as though they should act identically.
kingsbane with life steal should be pulled, but not voodoo doll since it gains the deathrattle with battlecry.
anyway toast will make videos of all those inconsistencies in day 1 xd
Will countess be able to draw a leaching poison from your deck?
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
