people are overating this card. its a good card yes, but 4 mana 3/4 and a weaker battlecry than MC, which doesnt see play in wild, which is most decks are 90% standard cards. and what secret do you use with this? no avenge, and i believe competitive spirit is rotating out aswell

You clearly dont play Wild, right? Competitive spirit it's a secret for wild only btw.

Wild decks are at a higher power level than standard decks. Wild not playing a previously meta defining card now doesn't mean shit. And even if only 10% of the cards are from wild, (which would be 3, which I haven't seen a single wild deck with only 3 wild cards ever, and I've been playing wild for about a year and a half now. I'm also not counting people who are just playing standard decks in wild) the cards that would be included make the decks more consistent and more powerful
How good this card is rests entirely on how good Paladin secrets are. Right now, they are not even close to good enough. Not only that, but this is a 4-drop, which means it's competing with Call to Arms. In a midrange deck, which is where this would most likely see play, you really only have room for one type of 4-drop "minion", and Call to Arms already fills that spot impeccably. Also, this card does not read "Silence and kill a demon", which means any deck it's in will just get crushed by Cubelock anyways. In short, it's junk. However, I'm still voting "Playable" because this card does have a shred of hope if the conditions favor it!
When the current Paladin Secret pool is Redemption, Eye for an Eye, Noble Sacrifice, Repentance, I wouldn't worry too much about this card. I mean, remember when Paladin lost Avenge? Secret Pally just kinda died...and even in Wild, this may be actually detrimental if you pull out Secrets ahead of the MC and ruin the "6 mana 10/9, summon a 3/2 (Noble Sac+Redemption+Competitive Spirit+Avenge+@)"
You don't need to fill your deck with so many secrets like MC and if your don't have luck to draw MC your draws are terrible with cheap secrets in mid/late game, this new one thin your deck 2 turns early.
This is the kind of card warrior, rogue and shaman need so desesperately, good tempo and value at the same time and Blizzard give to a class already have one of more broken cards ever Call To Arms.
I never felt an expansion and meta so unbalanced like this one, what is good become better, what is bad become garbage. :(
The expansion isn't over yet. Maybe they are saving the best for last. Aren't the best cards the ones that are normally revealed last? I know at least Bloodreaver Gul'dan was one of the last cards revealed.
It's crap, should be a 3 cost. This card not even a mini version of mysterious challenge with him being a 6/6 and usually at minimum he'll take out 3 secrets so 3 more mana in value making him a total of a 9 mana value card where this is just playing a 3/3 and get a secret for the more that is actually cost. No value at all in this card.
However, that being said. I approve this card for arena though. This is a good fair arena card.
This card is rather bad right now. Even if we get a great pally secret this expansion, are we supose to run two copies of it alone and wr hope we can draw this card first, or are we suppose to flood our deck with garbage pally secrets?
Probably won't see play simply because it's not insane enough like MC was to waste deck slots on secrets. Maybe they print a nice new secret but idk...
Secret paladin are bad when you play them, get x2 of them free (don't need draw or play) + thin deck effect + 3/4 body for 4 manas and people saying is not good?
You guys don't learn the Patches lesson? Anything free in games like this is insane.

This makes me want to play Paladin again with the upcoming secret(s)

Not again. . . please
So now that we have a fair version of Mysterious Challenger can we please just delete him from the game.
Compare this card with rogue Elven Minstrel, a good card (precious gem in rogue, the class get garbage after garbage after garbage).
You can play in curve, don't need to worry playing a card before, Minstrel is good when you have a coin or a Backstab but slow when don't.
3/4 instead 3/2.
Both draw specific types of cards, a minion is better than a paladin secret but this is compensated for the secret is put in game not in hand.
Secret paladind coming back

The Bellringer sentry gets hit on the head with a shaking bell and asks: Who am I?

What a load of old shit.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
oh good, time for some old fashion Grand Tournament PTSD

Depends on how good secrets are, rating of this card will go up during the next expansions.
"Hydrologists wont see play because paladin secrets are bad"
