The effect has the potential to be strong (Gorehowl, Arcanite Reaper, some new weapon we haven't seen yet), but I think the card is overall likely bad.
If I have a deck which wants big weapons, I almost surely want Forge of Souls. Then the weapons aren't in the deck for this to reveal. Even without Forge of Souls, most Warrior control decks include a lot of draw: you need it to find the answers you'll need, and you'll be fairly likely to draw your weapons before you can really get value from this. Dragon's Fury works because big-spell mage runs enough big spells that you'll be likely to hit one at any stage in the game--even moderately lategame, you'll have a decent change of having a big spell in your deck. Warriors won't run enough weapons for this to be consistent.
Genuine 10/10 card. This card will keep Dead Mans Warrior alive after rotation. Warrior doesn't have a lot of good boardwipes and this is the second this expansion.
Here is the Warrior version of Dragon's Fury: a control card that relies on having big cards in your deck. So far, this card would need to reveal Gorehowl or Arcanite Reaper to get its mana's worth, but I want access to better high-attack weapons before I use it.
This card will compete with the always awesome Brawl, which is cheaper and requires no synergies, so it has its work cut out for it.
The comments in this thread are pretty hilarious. "Requires you to not run low cost weapons = bad". Exactly! Just like the terrible Spiteful Summoner or the unplayable dragon's fury.
If you've drawn your expensive spells before you got to Spiteful Summoner, you still have the body.
In comparison to Warrior, Mage has an abundance of USEFUL spells it likes to include, that are AoEs in their own; like Flame Strike and Blizzard; or spells that still heavily impact board like Meteor.
Now there still could be some nice reveals coming along, but as of now, I think there are better options to include, than this spell.
A card that fits into the control warrior archetype. at it's worst, your going to deal 3 damage on the board, 7 at its best. I rate this card above average. I would include at least 1.
I say 3 because im running FWA. Im not running a woodcutters axe and blood razor
Yeah, I know, blood razor is a good card. But im building a deck around this new card.
If you draw your weapons before this, it's a dead card, and you don't want to pull Bloodrazor, arguably the best warrior weapon, from this, so it looks like trash to me.

You will probably want to run Blood Razor in Control Warrior; since this spell proccs off weapon attack, You'll deal a minimum of 2.
Warrior is most likely not getting a new weapon after Woodcutter's Axe so... it's either a 3 damage AoE or a 5, depending on archetype. Even 7 damage won't make it against bigger threats.
BTW I noticed a lot of people can't read it's the attack of the weapon, not the cost although the arsenal warrior currently has this only affects Blood Razor, which is bad cause it's the best warrior weapon currently. (if you look at all the playable weapons their attack is equal to their cost)

Difference is for Spiteful Summoner, it’s such a massive aggressive high roll. A 4/4+ 8 or 10 drop on turn 5 or 6. For Dragon’s fury, Mage has a lot of good aoe spells that they used anyways.
warrior though doesn’t run any high attack weapons at the moment and hasn’t for awhile. You’d be weakening the deck to use this. And this is a reactive card, not proactive like spiteful. There’s no high rolling here.
Stuff like this makes me wonder what the overarching design principles are for each class. Other than the weapon tie-in, what makes this a warrior card? Why have warriors been getting so many potentially massive removal spells lately? What about this is consistent with the class fantasy?
I think it's a bit overcosted. I expect to read comments mentioning Dragon's Fury. Although mages are better spellcasters than warriors, the weapons aren't that strong and can deal 4, 5 or 7 damage (gorehowl).
Not to mention, that if you draw your weapons, which aren't be that many for now, this is a dead card, while mages have a nice arsenal of high-cost spells.
I'm not excluding this card yet, but I'm a bit skeptical. Nice art and title though.
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

Does anyone else think that there's another weapon coming?
You don’t know what is coming... Warrior could get a weapon with high attack that has its cost reduced by the amount of armor you have...
The warrior version of Doomerang. Pretty bad.
Warrior already had their weapon revealed.

With this card you can't run the best warrior weapon in the game - blood razor, MEH would rather play Warpath it's more reliable.
bladed gaunlet will deal 0 damage with this, in case you are wondering, cause it should take the base damage of the weapon.

*also gauntlent but nobody plays that card

This should’ve been odd costed I think for taunt warrior

Control warrior will never be a thing without win condition...
