I could really use a free Legendary, tbh xD, so was wondering what you guys think about this card?
I'm not playing Wild, actually haven't even tried it lol, but I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of decks to try there too which don't contain him. Doesn't seem to me I'd miss him, but wanted to hear what other have to say first because I might be missing something.
Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome.
Thnx!

I wouldn't dust him, as he is a taunt that draws a card (potentially more in dragon decks). And with Azure Drake gone, card draw is harder to come by these days in Standard. If he draws only one card, it's quite underwhelming though, so that's why it didn't see so much play in the past. I still feel it would be a waste to dust him though.
It is hard knowing in advance if you'll regret dusting a legendary because we simply don't know what cards could be printed in the future that might make them good. For example, Moroes is now playable in the Quest Rogue deck, but because he isn't essential, I don't have as much regret for dusting him as I might have. Going forward I don't plan on dusting any more legendaries.
Wrathion could see play in a dragon deck that features deck manipulation in order to consistently draw more dragons. For example, you could use Hemet, Jungle Hunter to cleanse your deck of non-dragon cards (that cost 3 or less), draw a lot of them with Wrathion, and then use a card like Deathwing, Dragonlord to get as many on the board as you can. Could be slow, but a deck that could do that sounds like the perfect place for Wrathion and in the future a deck like this could be possible.
This guy gets it. We have tons of salt threads on here daily, of people who dusted cards that weren't great when they came out but now have crazy synergy. Everyone said that poor Confessor Paletress was trash, but she was amazing in Reno Raza Priest. People said to dust Moroes but now he's an infinite value generator in Quest Rogue.
Unless you're certain the card you're going to craft is going to raise your win rate by 100% (such as crafting Dr. Boom back in the day) don't just dust legendaries willy nilly.
theres no point in dusting it unless you have a genuine need for the 1600 dust. now isnt really a good time to be crafting, since everythign is still in the testing phase.
Wrathion is and was not seeing any play. Dragons seem to be in retreat, and as not a Classic card he will soon rotate into oblivion. He can't be in any way compared to Malygos which constitutes an archetype on his own.
I own a copy, and didn't have many opportunities to play it. I'm not dusting it though, because I play Wild. he might shine there one day.
If I were you, I'd dust it as soon as you will need exacly one legendary to complete a new deck.

Hi all,
so yesterday I realized I own golden Wrathion.
I could really use a free Legendary, tbh xD, so was wondering what you guys think about this card?

Should you craft/disenchant (Golden) Sylvanas or Ragnaros?
Find out in the: ULTIMATE dust guide for Hall of Fame cards
Since it is golden, and since it was sub-par even when Dragons were a thing, i would dust it.
Before doing so tho, i would take my time to ponder and ruminate about how to use the dust - to avoid instinct crafting of fluff.
Dust him.
I opened him in my pre-order MSoG pack and he never saw play in any deck. As a 6 Mana Taunt he is too weak also he rarely draws more than one card.
I still have mine though, but he is not golden. I'd definitely dust a golden one.
Go and craft a useful legendary or some cool epics from the new expansion.
Nope.
I use him in my greedy taunt Warrior deck. A taunt that draws a card is great
Pretty good actually, I wouldn't dust him.
4/5 taunt that draws cards is good.
hes not in wild but in standard - just to make this clear for you!

I actually think it's a decent card, in particular in dragon decks. The main problem is that The Curator is simply a more reliable and better card.
Dust him. Useless card.

Hmm, interesting thoughts and some valid points.
I already regreted DE Golden Malygos once. Part of the reason for asking about this card.
If nothing else, I'll prolong the decision for now.
Thnx for the answers, guys ;)
