For all the people thinking there are not enough cards to interact with minions for the The Last Kaleidosaur let me remind you buffs are not the only cards that will work. In fact here is a list of all the cards excluding un'goro cards revealed or left to be revealed and wild cards that can satisfy the quest requirement.
Something else worth noting is that there are cards from Warrior and Hunter that can be acquired from Grimestreet Informant that can also satisfy the quest requirement. Things like Inner Rage and Bestial Wrath. Speaking of Grimestreet informant any one else notice that the grimy goons have the best "cross-quest" synergy. Paladins could easily play an aggro deck while playing The Last Kaleidosaur and potentially get Queen Carnassa and I could see Hunters at least in wild with Explorer's Hat being able to potentially get Galvadon.
Now to say that this makes the paladin quest good is not something I can say for sure but for those saying there aren't enough options to make it work is severely close minded and should consider the options before making blanket assessments like "this card is shit"
I'm thinking this could be good in Wild in some sort of Mech Paladin using spare parts to get through the quest quickly. Early board control with good mechs like Shielded Minibot and using spare parts for small advantages, the on turn 5-7 play some really high stat minion that will most likely be able to get stealth.
this is a 9/6 Stealth windfury almost always for 5 mana plz stop calling this weak. But there are not enough buff cards but there might just be some.
6 however is realy a lot, more easy in wild since spareparts will count there. This looks to slow compared to rthe other quests thought which will finish around turn 5-6.
Wow, this card is so bad I honestly feel like crying. Honestly.
There is no way you cast 6 buffs during a game and win. Actually there is almost no chances of buffing minions 6 times in a game because you need buffs and minions to cast them on.
Silver hand recruits are obviously always available but casting a buff on a minion with summoning sickness is weak because it could get removed and you lose insane value.
In that case you are going need to have minions and buffs, which is inconsistent to say the least. Unless you cram you're deck with buffs and minions. But then you get not removal and just die to every deck out there. (guess why Grimy goons didn't work at all?) .
Buff is simply a worthless mechanic in any card game because you need minions and buffs, and every time you get one removed you lose two cards.
Blizzard once again taking a huge shit on paladins....
BTW Galvadon is a good minion. But the way you get it is just so weak that you would never want to run the quest in your deck. Seriously what the hell is wrong with team 5. The other quests have way easier time to get the reward and some of them has a way better reward. I'm looking at priest and warlock, with the latter not needing particular love these days.
Seriously as someone who likes paladin and want it to be a viable class I have been crapped on for too long now.... there better be good cards in the dump.....
Buffing minions is not bad in every card game, but it isn't too great in Hearthstone. Both in Magic the Gathering and Pokémon TCG, buffing minions is actually really strong in some cases. The biggest problem is that there's not many ways to protect your buffed minion in this game, unlike other card games.
I want to point out that in order for a buff spell to be even relevant, you need to have something on board.
Paladins can never get on board, they suck at keeping the board and they can't remove anything without removing their own board.
There is a reason why the only pally decks which can get above a 40% winrate are the ones that completely give up on it and run Doomsayers, equalities and pyros.
If you are also running the required buff spells to make this work, which I assume is about a third of a deck, then it's even less likely to grab board.
This theoretical deck could currently be a thing but just with Arcane Giants instead.
Then there is the fact that shaman is already running Devolve and will be even more inclined to do so after losing their early game, and druid will just play their Ancient of War into it and you can't remove it because you're playing paladin.
Now I'm all for janky decks. I just don't like very inconsistent ones.
That's 16 buff cards you can theoretically add to deck for this quest. Notice the quest also says, spells so you can also use healing spells on your minions. You can also discover buffing cards, and don't forget there are 4 still unrevealed paladin cards in this expansion (potentially another 8 cards in the deck)
Not saying it's gonna work, just that we have enough tools to start with.
cast 6 buffs is a lot, but galvadon is an instant win condition that dies to very few cards (deadly shot, brawl, etc).
And honestly I'm fine with blizzard pushing buff archetype rather than silver hand recruit archetype. But i'm kinda sad that the quest in unplayable in handbuff paladin.. Even if smuggler's run works, it would just count as 1 spell, and it is the only spell in handbuff decks.
And this quest, like all quests, gives me a good reason to move to Wild. This one is brann synergy.
How is it an instant win condition? You get to play a way overstated five drop on turn 10. So what?
Vary Good as a vote instead of the usual Very Good? Is there a joke/pun I'm missing here or was it a typo?

So you put all the playable buff cards in your deck.
How do you even finish this quest.
Dust it... obviously.
Don't forget corrupted mukla. Possibly the best card for this theoretical deck.

lol never gonna work we will see what the meta gonnas be but the quest is much too slow
This is annoying because when I first saw Galvadon I immediately thought of Blessing of Might to play the turn after you adapt stealth and windfury!
But now you need to play cheap buffs like Blessing of Might just to complete the quest. *sigh*

A lot of people have pointed out the spare parts interaction. Could it be that this quest was intended for wild?
And we have a lot of reveals to go. Any buff that also draws a card would be a welcome addition to making this quest viable.
Standard Legend - July '16 (Rank 56), June '17, Dec. '18, Apr. '19
Wild Legend - Mar. '18 (Rank 30), Apr. '18, Aug. '19
Twelve Arena Wins - Shaman, Warlock, Mage x2, Rogue, Priest (12-0), Druid, Hallow's End x2, Hunter, Taverns of Time x3 (Pa,D,WL), Paladin
Arguably it'll actually be hard to remove because most likely it can't be targeted by spells or hero powers
Vilespine Slayer is going to be very popular, whether the Paladin quest is viable or not.
"Why, you never expected justice from a company, did you? They have neither a soul to lose nor a body to kick." -- Lady Saba Holland
What Paladin needs is a card that serves multiple functions. Something like:
"Decrease an enemy minions attack and health by 4 and add it to a friendly minion. If the enemy minion has lower than 4 attack or health, destroy it."
This way we get a buff card AND removal/state manipulation. Plus it synergizes with Aldor Peacekeeper or the new Legendary.
