This card is garbage (assuming its a random resummon and not a selected one). Resurrect was not good enough at 2 mana. It was too hard to control the effect, and given the standard priest minions, was far too likely to just summon a 1-health Wild Pyromancer. This card has 3-mana worth of stats and adds on a Resurrect, so the only advantage it has over just playing Resurrect is card economy. If it had good stats, like 5/5 for its cost, it would be worth building around. Or, if it had tempo cost and stats, say a 3/3 for 3 with this ability, then it would be cool, because you'd play it on curve and resummon your 2-drop. As is, it will see no play.
Assuming you never play any 1- or 2-drop minions, this is not bad. But then again... Menagerie Warden...
If you don't have drops for the first two turns just to get value from this card is just....you will lose health and tempo just to get value from a card that you will not have on turn 5 100% of the time, it's bad and disappointing
RIP Priest class... It's funny how Shaman was bad for so long but was never really considered dead. Priest is just gone now. Time to bring Demon Hunter as a replacement maybe??? *Wink wink*
Sorry. Arthas is first. Followed by Chen Stormstout.
I tried Resurrect, the Randomness of it was terrible. It almost always selected the worst possible minion. It was so bad I just gave up.
Frankly I'm not convinced it wasn't programmed to take the worst possible minion. I'm 99% sure it isn't, but, when your luck is that bad you start to wonder...
It doesn't say random minion. So can you actually pick the minion to summon? If that's the case, then some early taunt minions with high health can be played to stop the early aggression... Then summoned again to stop it further more and get to late game? It is slow but can be a possibility?

No its just inconviniene in Naming by blizzard. Its the same as resurect. So in short, no you cant select itll be random.

I ran a quite successful Resurrect deck back in the Secret Paladin meta. To ensure a good ress I only ran Wild Pyromancer as a 2-drop, since the effect triggers after being resurrected, and Injured Blademaster/Deathlord as 3-drops. Needless to say, everything of higher mana cost is always good to bring back.
It had a slightly above 50% winrate around rank 5-4, not the best deck I've ever played, but not bad at all. You just can't stuff the card into your standard Control Priest and expect it to work well.
This is an interesting card. It's a 5-mana minion with 3-mana stats that casts the 2-mana spell Resurrect. Resurrect is a card that you really need to build a deck around, as you want to fill your deck with high value minions such as Injured Blademaster so you don't resummon random crap. This card could add some consistency to a Resurrect deck; however, including this would give you the possibility of resurrecting this instead after it dies. A generic 3/4 for 2 mana is good value, on paper, but probably isn't what you were hoping to accomplish with Resurrect.
Even though I think this is the best priest class card in the expansion, I have to address all the people who think this card is good/very good - pleash shut up, you clearly don't play priest often enough to have a clue. The main weakness for priest is early game, meanwhile priest's strength is late game. This is a bad early game card but a good late game card so this doesn't solve anything. There, I put it as simple as I could, I hope it clears things up for the simpletons.
To be more specific - to gain early maximum and reliable value from this card you clearly need to play Injured Blademaster as the only minion before you play this card. If your mulligan is lucky and you don't get overwhelmed by aggro early, that can be a huge swing. But the operational word here is IF. It goes without saying that most of the time you won't get this perfect scenario and that for the vast majority of games you will get value from it in the late game. So the card has minimal impact on your early game but a big impact on your late game. So it's nothing new for priest. Awesome!
And you clearly haven't played Res Priest. I've made and tested a dozen variants including ones where only 2-3 minion cards were even in the deck. Priest doesn't need minions to survive the early game. When yoj realize you don't need a board, cards like PW:G become viable.
STatwise, it's a really good card. You get Resurrect and a 3/4 for 5 mana. But as everyone said before me, it's really too slow. Priest will still struggle in the early game and he will probably lose during the 5/6 first turns. The only tempo oriented deck that priest has is the dragon one and resurrect does not work with dragons because they are usually battlecry minions.

This is a 5-drop, it can bring back 4-drops as well. You don't need maximum value for it to be good.

This will be great for resummoning that awesome 3 drop that priest STILL DOESN'T HAVE.
Pretty sure this card is actually just slightly worse than Ress which is sad.

I guess they realize Injured Blademaster is Priest's only good early card so why not have a chance at six of them?
How about this one?
terrible for its cost and too much rng based
Priest needs OPness, should have been a 4 mana 4/4
No, I am not joking

I'm a little afraid to even try this.

0/7 not dank enuff. Still, this will be a nice weapon in my resurrect priest which is by no means a competitive deck. RIP Priest.
