I don't get this card. It's in line with other reasonable arena cards that see no constructed play, but 1 damage has never been worth it unless you're also activating your own enrage effects.
This card will actually be good in Arena....Helps counter your weak match ups and lots of times Shaman needs those pings...Not good enough to run 2 but maybe running 1 will be decent in Reno decks.
This shits on Zoo Lock as well that runs loads of 1 health crap...Same with Aggro Paladin.
Aggro Shaman will not run this, why would they waste 2 mana on just dealing damage to minions (that might not even be there - there's likely only 1 on t2 and that is what Lightning Bolt can deal with much better) and getting a random 1-drop rather than simply dropping a Totem Golem or a Flametongue?
This might help Midrange Shaman but as this really only targets Zoo I don't think this will see much play. A bit niche.
1 drops are insane 1 damage to all enemy minions is ok, especially against zoolock, with spell damage is insane and shamans can get it often enough and might run it nowadays for other reasons, probably good enough in something but not sure.

Seriously the discrepency in treatment between shamans and priests by Blizzard is mind blowing.
Btw let's put the ranting aside. Shamans have asked forever for a non overload reliable dmg aoe board clear and this is it. it synergises extremely well with spell power.

Well, with spell dmg this is really powerful. Non aggro shaman loves spell dmg and they are giving us the perfect excuse to add more spell dmg minions. Shaman might be the best class AoE class right now.
Well, we do currently have 6 aoe copies we can run in our spells, and other cards that can help from neutral minons.
Considering how easy shaman can get spell damage it isn't a bad card, but i wonder if there is a free slot for this card, after all shaman has so many other good cards. If we get more zoo-like decks (like divineshield pall) in meta, this card can become popular, but now it's only good against zoo (zoo isn't a very hard matchup for shaman anyway), so i dont think it's worth.

Elemental and Lightning storm are both better as removal thus is just to much and not worthwhile.

new shammy control cards. Synergies with Spirit Claws activators. You would probably play both in a control deck.

hmm, lighting storm is better but it does cost 3 mana less, I guess it will depend on the meta, looks like a nice tech card.
Spell damage totem + Maelstrom Portal + Spirit Claw (5 mana no overload lightning storm (light) with a 3/3 weapon to clean up)?
This card is just great agains't zoo, and it work's as a solid pin as well.

If you think about it, this is just an upgraded version of Arcane Explosion but for shamans. They got the better end of this deal I have to say.
With Hallazeal the Ascended and a spirit totem combined has helped turned the tables for me quite often
