So here's my submission for this week's design competition, which is Kel'Thuzad. Basically he's a card that needs a deck built around him, and like N'Zoth, Kel'Thuzad capitalizes on minions dying except he doesn't need Deathrattle minions. On the other hand, you need a lot of minions to have died for Kel'Thuzad to trigger -- 25, in fact -- so the trick is to play him in a deck with ways to create lots of tokens that die. Stand Against Darkness, Unleash the Hounds, etc.
As a hero Kel'Thuzad has 16 health (double of his minion counterpart's 8 health) and has the power to both summon the dead and freeze the enemy with a single push of a button. The Discover mechanic helps to ensure that you don't get, say, just a 1/1 token, and Freezing a random enemy helps with either stabilizing the board or 'win more'.
The effect might be a bit too strong, but the high cost hopefully keeps it balanced. Priced at 6 mana means it comes out a bit later than Cloaked Huntress and makes the opponent have a chance to get rid of your then-active Secrets. The secrets that he gives you are from your own class.
Yeah this card is pretty awesome! I imagine I might be sick of it if it gets to be as omnipresent as Mysterious Challenger was, but so far it's a pretty challenging deck to come up against and it's hilarious to drop the unexpected Eater of Secrets against unexpecting Secret Hunters. Not that I think Eater of Secrets will be viable long-term, mind you, but it's fun to make use of this card when everyone's trying to use Secret Hunters.
I know Felhound concepts are, like, kind of blase since people like making Felhounds, but come on, Blizzard, make a proper Felhound card already!
In any case, this card is based on the fact that Felhounds drain mana from their enemy, and this is like a mini C'thun-esque effect that kind of represents the Felbound absorbing your enemy's mana and attacking them. It's priced quite high because most of the time your enemy will spend nearly all their mana and 7-mana deal 7 random damage and getting a 4/4 body is pretty decent. Sometimes you probably can deal the full 10 damage, maybe more if your opponent had some Innervate shenanigans going on, which would be great value... but if your opponent is playing a fatigue game and is just hero-powering then you'll be sad.

Damn, these are all very well-designed both card-wise and lore-wise. It's really, really hard to even pick one.

Bless all of you who voted 'meta defining' on this card.

I'd rather have a Blessing of Kings TBH.

It's a good card, just not one that Shaman really needs right now.

Help me out, and thanks in advance.

I never get early game cards.
