The type of Tempo card that can lose you tempo. Not good design at all.
Plus it's competing against Azure Drake and Ethereal Conjurer for the 5 drop slot.
I could see people dabbling with this card if the above 5 drops didn't exist. With competition, there's really no point. Especially looking at the new 6 drop. You definitely don't want to sacrifice deck space for this over the 6 drop.
This is a total mage-only Piloted Shredder, because a lot of the same arguments presented on why Piloted Shredder sucks before the release of GvG are being presented for why this card sucks.
Once WOG goes live, and we see this card in action, most mages are probably gonna run with it.
People whining all the time. There's always going to be an aspect of RNG in the game (drawing the right cards is based on RNG after all). Some people enjoy crazy swing cards and they're definitely nice for newer players without loaded collections. Everybody says "Pyroblast/Fireball/Soulfire self, gg" but that's such a small chance. There are a number of cards that only hit enemy minions or only benefit you. If you drop this on an empty board, sure your chances aren't that great but on a full board you could be AOE'ing or hitting an enemy minion.
I'm not sure how harshly I'd judge this card until we determine how many ways it could go bad.

Every secret falls in your favor. So there's that benefit. Arcane Intellect, Ancestral Knowledge, those all work for you. Although Knowledge could be bad if you don't want to overload.

yeah but then you get those paladins buff spells and power word shield or naturalize (with him as the only minion on board)..... i think i want to see the math on this....
Is not a really competive card for its possible drawback. But with all them ( casinos cards) im thinking to make a funny "Dirty Harry" deck to remenber that sometimes games are for get fun with them.

Meh. Why are its stats so poor when it can even hit itself?
They should've made the spell only cast on enemies, then it would've been a solid card.

Nobody will use it while Ethereal Conjurer is a thing, except some non serious Casino Mage decks.
