The problem for me isn't Aviana + Kun combo it's the speed at which druid can pull it off. Multiple times in wild I die on turn 6 which just isn't a fun experience. I think the biggest offender is juicy psychmelon which draws all your combo pieces. Druid's just insanely strong right now.
it would be AMAZING if the only problem with druid was a 4,5,6 card combo. Druid is a broken piece of crap all around, just way above everyone else. reliable 30+ damage otk ? check. stall ? check. removal ? check. superior life gain compared to warrior ? check. Token deck ? check. Endless barrage of taunts ? check. And if isn't enough let's enable a meme card like Togwaggle with even more broken stuff for druid, why not.

Wouldn't it be almost as accurate to say that warlock is close to the same thing?
Infinite value hero power removal almost for free each turn, combo deck with upwards of almost 25 burst with good rng, the most consistent class in disrupting combo decks, powerful answers to deal with both wide and tall boards, very fast-paced aggro deck, has the most powerful baseline hero power of all classes.
If druid needs to be addressed then let's make things consistent by dealing with all classes that can currently do too much.

We are talking about wild there. Arguably every class have a deck there that is powerfull enough to deal with anything. So it is not the case of Druid. However Druid have something that other classes don't have.

i absolutely agree with your point about Warlock. I just feel there's more counterplay to their stuff (unless we're talking about zoo highrolling the shit outta you on T1 or double mountain giant by T4) than there is to Druid. Burn decks in general punish slow warlocks and warrior does well against zoo, for example.

My point is that Druid has multiple of those insanely powerful decks combined with the fact they possess some of the most powerful cards individually, not to mention the synergy like in that Aviana Kun Togwaggle deck. I'm not disagreeing with the point made about that combo being crazy powerful and now with the juicy psychmelon consistent and reliable, i'm just saying that the class as a whole is a problem right now that needs to be adressed.

Honestly speaking though. Just nerfing the Melon should be enough to deal with brokeness of it in Wild. As I said in few posts a while ago, If Druid will get multiple things nerfed then it will be much more weaker compared to other Wild decks and Druid will end up in a dumpster. Which is not good for a class design. Also, all of his winconditions can be countered by Tech cards which is pretty significant and important. What is really broken is the fact that he can do his comboes on turn 3 which is not ok. Blame game is mostly on Melon, but Ramp tools should be considered too.
Dirty Rat+Demonic Project and don't come crying with the argument that you don't want to adjust tech for the emta because that's a excuse that only the bad players make.
I cant believe there still people out there who say combo beats control (in wild) and aggro beats combo druid
Whether you like it or not it is true. One of the reasons why Wild is better than Standard is the fact, that we have less polarised meta here. Aggro can beat anything, Combo can beat anything, Control can beat anything and Midrange can beat anything. Like the only polarised decks are Kingsbane Mill Rogue and Big decks like Priest,Rogue,Hunter.
Wild is stupid right now. 90 percent of games right now are against boring lame-ass aviana kun decks. I refuse to sink as low as anyone running that trash.
9 of the 15 most played cards in Wild are druid class cards.
One version of Star aligner druid is currently 10% of the decks played.
No, the way to counter the deck isn't to tech against it, it is to play snowbally decks like odd paladin and even shaman that doesn't allow ramping and drawing in the earlygame.
Yes, Juicy Psychmelon is problematic, but simply nerfing Aviana to 10 mana seems the most elegant to me. All the combos would still be playable through Innervate and Emperor Thaurissan. A 50-mana turn should be much harder to set up!
Your problem is that you're playing wild. I have d/e'd all my wild cards to focus on building strong standard decks. Much less to deal with.. With wild, it's so difficult to build a deck that is effective against all decks, because there are soooo many more possible decks.. I get that there are favourable matchups and unfavourable matchups in standard as well, but there are some really strong options available to you in standard that will win you more games than they will lose, such as Odd Rogue, Heal Zoolock, Control Warrior, Deathrattle Hunter. Combo decks are much less an issue in standard. Do yourself a favour and leave wild behind, as Blizzard clearly has.
I don't give a fuck what Blizzard wants. Until they Nerf the combo and those decks vanish from the meta I would rather not waste my time against those boring decks. Wild has a lot of potential but when 90 percent of games are against the same lame shit deck that potential is wasted. The meta in wild is boring and stale right now. There is currently zero incentive to play it.
This is the correct question stop blaming old cards Juicy psych Melon is the problem. Being able to turn turn 2 innervate turn 3 psychmelon turn 4 nourish turn 5 stall, turn 6 coin combo off with aviana is what is broken. Psychmelon should never have been printed as bad if not worse than call to arms in paladin, but it's not a problem in standard so who cares right.

Your problem is the fact that you don't know what are you talking about. Wild has way more decks, way more uderdog decks, way more options. You can clearly see the player satisfaction for both formats by looking trough hearhtpwn and comparing how much salt threads there are about Standard and how much about Wild.
Even if I hate Druid, Aviana+Kun IS NOT a problem, Noah_McGrath.

It's almost as if Blizzard want you to construct a deck that counters a card... oh no!
