So, we all know Patches is gonna be nerfed to death.
HOWEVER, I was wondering if he could still be beneficial in decks that can make a fair use of Ship's Cannon, and Aggroadin is currently one of those decks (arguably the best environment for Cannon atm).
There, the missing charge on Patches will be a big loss, yet most of the Tempo gain with Cannon or even Knife Juggler is maintained.
Out of Prince decks, the Captain swing with charging Patches is simply replaced by Cannon swing.
Ofc, it's not as good as before, but maybe Wild Aggroadin makes the nerfed ol' chap still worth keeping?
Removed. This deck is aimed at post-nerf, and i am not sure Creeper will be worth a deck slot then. It will still be sticky for its average cost, but it won't help with the deck's speed anymore, with just 2 atk. What would you remove from my list in favour if 2/5 Creeper? Anyway, the thread is mostly about Patches with Cannon.
It was a sarcasm :) I am glad CC probably will be removed now from almost every deck. About topic question, i think Patches is still fine for this deck sinergy.
best thing to do is disenchant him to gain the full value back and then craft him again later if you think you need him, you lose nothing that way. but if you keep him and in the end he gets replaced by you lose 1200 dust.
Yeah, this is my default behaviour with nerfs.
The problem is that the 15-days window for disenchant is not that much to understand the new value of the card, especially within a newly shifting meta.

Here's a list of my own, for reference:
Where is your Corridor Creeper now?
