The point of Wild is that old school decks still get play. They won't versus newer decks built on a higher power scale (intentionally, to keep our attention, see MTG for more examples). If you have zero Wild cards in your deck, play Standard. Period. If you want to mix up Wild into a newer format, by all means, go ahead! Reno and Kazakus are welcome in Wild. Pirate is welcome. Jades are fine. BUT, if you have nothing Wild in your deck, you're just being an asshole. Period. I paid time and money for my collection, most of which is unusable in Standard. Leave Wild for Wild players. Heck off, brah.

Trolling?
You realize that not using any wild cards in your deck is a disadvantage, right?
At the beginning of the rotation, Wild decks were shitting on Standard ones. Now, you can probably reach legend with a Standard deck, but so what? There are much more counter-tech available in Wild, so they will never take over anyway. And Dr. Boom, Piloted Shredder, Sludge Belcher and Haunted Creeper are really, really good cards to miss out on...
Wild is wild. Standard is standard. How they are set up now is completely fine and they shouldn't be changed. If you want to have a "wild exclusive" kinda thing, it will be better off just creating a new format, maybe "legacy" or "ancient" maybe.
Standard is there so that new players do not have to learn all the cards at once, thus makes the game for them much easier. Everyone has to start somewhere, and if you throw them into the deep end straight away, they are less likely to stay. Of course, for the older players, that means they cannot use their previous decks in standard, so if they continue to want to use them (everyone has a favourite deck of some sort), they at least can with wild. Having a "legacy" game mode won't have any true purpose other than just being there.
You mean Wild exclusive cards. I don't know that that would be a good idea or even doable, but it says something about the strength of standard cards when standard decks can still crush the wild meta.
Don’t worry, it can’t.
Wild cards are much stronger than Standard cards and you can’t keep climbing the ladder with subpar Standard cards if your opponents are playing a mix of Standard and Wild exclusive cards.
I also want to see a restriction on Wild mode, that your deck should contain at least 2 wild cards to play on ladder or casual.
On the other hand, I would be happy if the power level of wild decks would be so high, that standard decks could not compete against them, so all of these I-m-bored-by-playing-cubelock-lets-plague-the-other-ladder-with-it players could be punished so hard, which is not the case.
I think if each deck required 1-2 Wild exclusive cards, it'd be better. I've seen my fair share of decks in Wild without a single one, and it's kind of annoying.
I would like to hear other people's opinion about this topic.
I personally think if you are playing in wild, that your deck should require either a percentage of wild cards or a certain number of wild cards. Even if it a small amount; say 3 cards. If a deck contains no wild cards, it shouldn't get the wild tag in your deck list slots, and only wild deck list slots should be available to choose from.
Thoughts?
Dumb as hell. The whole point of Wild is you have the freedom to use absolutely whatever you like. You're suggesting it become something other than that. I don't understand why this matters to you though. It's like you're complaining about people gimping themselves by playing Wild whilst not using Wild cards, oO
Complaining about that is a valid problem, because sometimes it's an actual problem. I think Standard and Wild should be separate, and Standard decks unplayable in Wild because then we won't have to deal with Standard's BS.

People using whatever cards they like to build whatever decks they want in an environment that exists for precisely that reason is not a problem.
The format isn't for that, it's for using old cards you can't play in Standard. If you're going to play Standard decks in Wild, you don't belong there.
Using standard only cards just makes ur deck weaker. Take cubelock tier 1 op standard deck which is even stronger if used with 3 or 4 exclusive wild cards. So let them use their standard only decks as that will reduce their odds of winning
I don't see a problem here. Everytime Standart deck enters Wild it basically cripples itself because Wild powerlevel is on another level. No Standart deck can have over 30/30 stats on turn 5 thanks to Naga or Barnes+ressurection shenanigans, No Standart deck can fully heal itself at turn 6. No Standart deck can answer Aviana+Kun comboes because they don't have cards that disrupts opponent strategy available (except Warlock) and so on and on. So yes, when you play with Standart deck on Wild, it shoulddn't be that powerfull.
Not gonna happen and how would you even determine how much wild chards should be in the deck?
On the other hand, I must say that it would be nice if there were more wild decks in Wild. In ranks 10-25 at least half of the decks is the same standard crap like in Standard without a single wild card. Why do people even go to wild with such decks is beyond me.
just relax and enjoy the free wins,
@OP: dunno if you're having troubles with standard decks in Wild SPECIALLY with >WITCHWOOD< Standard decks ... then i'm sorry to inform you that the problem is not the players playing standard decks in Wild.

Oops, my bad. However, it is still a relevant subject no matter which expansion it is. I do not agree with wild requiring wild cards, but it is a topic each person can have a say on. When this was posted, the jade era was still in full swing, where it was common to see full jade decks (that were standard at the time) be seen in both standard and wild. Even now, it is common to see standard decks in wild with one or two wild changes to the deck.

Preventing people from playing standard deck lists wouldn't mean that you would never see that type of deck in wild. I saw so many of these complaints back before pre-Razakus nerf months. People thought that if Razakus players were somehow prevented from playing standard only lists in wild that they wouldn't have to deal with the deck in the wild meta (somehow ignoring that Reno Priest was still very much a thing).
I think too many people mistake that asking for no standard decks in wild is more akin to them trying to ask for no version of that deck to fill the wild casual/ranked meta at all, which will not be the case.

1. The people you face using Standard-only lists may not own any Wild-only cards. Why should they be locked out of an entire ladder?
2. In Wild, anything can happen! Even people using whatever cards they want to use.
Nature is the Day.
Man is the Sun.
Woman is the Moon.
The Stone is the Sky.
The Art is the Way.
