Getting Legend as Pirate Warrior. Wow.. GZ! GZ for not beeing ashamed.
Should I? I am Legend, you are not.
Gotta side with SlithooN here. Wild legend with pirate warrior is definitely not a matter of skill, but a matter of grinding. Not sure if I'm going for legend but I am meeting the dumbest pirate warriors in the top 5 ranked of wild ladder. If I'm going for it, I'm doing it with my N'Zoth warr. I'll see though.
I think that this month is the month i'll finally finish the legend grind!
Got to rank 3 yesterday with thaddius warrior, i have positive winrate against most decks, and 50-50 against PW, so it is just a matter of time (and some luck) until i get there.
It says a lot - and not much good - if you run into Standard-legal decks all the time in Wild ladder. It means the current cardpool is so strong it doesn't need older Wildling cards to be overpowered.
Hurray for Pirate Warrior and Aggro/Jade Shaman... the whole bloody reason I opt for Wild is to get rid of them... and now I keep on running into the same d*mn decks there over and over too.
I made legend yesterday with Egg Druid. It took me about 75 games from rank 5 to legend with a 67% win rate.
I mostly faced Pirate Warriors but other than that a healthy mix of other classes. Hunter and Paladin were the least played classes. I have seen one Secret Paladin, two Midrange Paladin and one Anyfin Paladin. Not a single Hunter from rank 5 to legend. I would say the decks that are most popular behind Pirate Warriors are Jade shaman, Reno Mage, Reno Lock, Water Rogue and Dragon Priest. After that Control Priest (some Reno, some not) and Jade Druid. Egg Druids, Zoolocks and Miracle Rogues were a rare sight. I might have faced one or two of each in my climb. I play on EU server.
I found that Egg Druid is still a good deck to climb because it has good match-ups against Pirate Warrior and Reno decks. The class I struggled most with was Priest. Dragon Priests that curve well win the board from you and some Control Priests rekt me with (buffed) Deathlord and/or Wild Pyromancer clears.
Funny, last month I cruised to rank 5 with a Anti-aggro Renolock, because it did well against PW and shamans, which is what I mainly saw. Once at rank 5 it hit a bunch of other control decks and stalled, so I gave up going for legend.
This month I barely saw any of the aggro and faced mainly priests and other control decks. Stopped playing around mid-March at rank 9. Guess I'll give it a go again if aggro is dominating again.
Hit Wild Legend today , Pirate Warrior is OP .

Priest's a real bitch against egg druid indeed. I got to 7, then fell back to 10 again, guess i failed again this season :(
Wild seems much easier than standard this season! People being inspired by the torunamnet, and want to get the last breath of this rotation?
I got to rank 4 pretty easily, and regret banging my head on rank 7 standard with decks I do not really know.

Got to rank 4 with egg druid aswell, but gave up on grinding to legend from there - It was hard enough to pass from rank 6 to 5 xD

Got to rank 4 with this unusual deck. My personal record currently
At rank 6 i also combined it mostly with Demon Disco
