While the expansions all have a theme, and you need to play in a limited cardpool in standard, in wild you don't know. With more and more cards, more and more insane combination will be found. More and more viable decks will be found and it will be very insane.
2.) It's actually CHEAPER to play in wild.
"WHAT??? What are you smoking?" Yes, in the long run, playing wild is much cheaper than playing standard. For new players, standard is naturally better, but if you have already a cardpool, playing wild is cheaper. Strong cards stay strong cards (or get nerfed and you get the full dust back). You can still play a perfectly fine mech mage or an control priest in Wild. While these got completely destroyed in standard. The TgT-Sales were simply not high enough, so adding a format where cards get regularly get rotated out makes the cash flow.
3.) It makes simply fun, playing against many decks.
In standard we have actually 8-10 decks, nothing more. In wild we have now a very diverse meta.
A lot more diversity, a larger card pool, and Priest is viable. I even think there's less BM; I believe folks playing Wild realize that they're playing against kindred spirits and are generally less cutthroat.

How can you BM in this game? Other than roping every turn to piss off the opponent?
Anyway, I agree with pretty much everyone else. Larger card pool, more diverse meta, not so much face, every class has a chance to climb ranks, janky builds can be janky without worrying about dying on turn 5, Dr. Boom and Shredder and Belcher are almost cute now (love playing all 3, awesome with N'Zoth), etc, etc, etc. Standard has got to be the most boring format right now. You can't consistently beat the top 2-3 decks so you have to play them and they're all boring. Druid, Rogue, and Priest (yuck), all suck in Standard right now, but do wonders in Wild still.
The question now becomes, why in the world would you want to play Standard? Name one redeeming quality that Standard has over Wild (besides fast games because that doesn't necessarily make either format better or worse).

Personally, it's more cards for more brewing opportunities, and the fact that any card I make will be playable until the game fails; no worries about rotating out my favorite cards here.
I play wild, because I don't have to remember which cards I should play around and which not. It's too embarrassing to play around Duplicate or Avenge in standard.
Why Wild? Simply because:
1.) A much larger Cardpool

Less tryhards apparently.. good enough reason for me

Play Wild, or play Mild.

Yesterday I started my season in Wild with a Mech Paladin deck that I can't play in Standard. It's totally fun.
There really is a diversity in the decks you play against in Wild.
Also, I spent gold on GvG packs, and gosh darn it, I'm going to use those cards!
Because it's easier to rank till 5. Been doing it every season.

Legendaries crafted so far: Dr. Boom, Kazakus, Lord Jaraxxus, Sylvanas Windrunner, Fire Plume's Heart, Mal'Ganis, Bloodreaver Gul'dan, Baku the Mooneater, Genn Greymane, Aya Blackpaw, Patches the Pirate, Leeroy Jenkins, Zilliax, Raid the Docks and ancharr
Wild >> Standard right now. More diversity, more interesting games, larger card pool with some amazing cards in it... what's not to love about it?
