Ayy ive noticed it too, and personally I’m not grieving the lack of them. Probably has something to do with the light return of deathrattle, or at least Flamewreathe Faceless. Have certainly been seeing more Polymorphs though, that’s for sure.
There's an insane bonus rate of Karazhan cards, so that's primarily the reason why Flamestrike is not being seen. It's still an autopick in every draft though.

sometime, people will actually start reading about what's going on in Hearthstone. Until then, they will be clueless and post stupid threads. Every time a new set or adventure comes out, the chance for getting offered those cards is boosted in arena.
Kara is more likely so flamestrike became less likely, there were 4 weeks when this didn't apply(meaning there was no expansion/adventure being more likely), which was a tranzition period between wispers and OniK that lasted since wing 1 got out, until the last wing got out.

I am quite sure wotog still had the 25% bonus till last week. There wasn't a blizzard statement about it and I saw mainly wotog cards..
what's for sure now we are likely also to see less bog creepers as vwell.
It's not currently possible for them to affect the rate of any card's appearance in Arena, other than removing it entirely from the system, thus a decrease in appearance may just be a coincidence or due to the Karazhan buff.
There are more cards so you'll see less of it but there is also a good chance you haven't seen it because they haven't drawn it. It is an auto pick card in what is usually an autopick class but it is also 7 mana so lots of people don't keep it. So even if every mage has it (which they don't), you would only have a 50% chance or less of seeing it as the average game doesn't go more than 10-15 turns. (see 15 of the 30 cards)
Just my impression, but it seems like I'm facing fewer Flamestrikes since the release of ONiK. Noticeably fewer.
Of the last four mages I played against, only one played a Flamestrike.
The card pool got bigger and the commons are skewed toward ONiK, so I guess it makes some sense.
Finding that it doesn't pay right now to play around Flamestrike...

I just drafted a mage deck and got offered no Flamestrike. The two of us together are a very small data set, however.
