I just won a standard ranked game at Diamond 3. Kind of proud as I'm slowly but certainly making my way up to legendary (which would be my first time).
Then my opponent send me a friend request just to insult me and say I should be ashamed for "Net decking"... Ok.... I would normally set it aside as a potential freak who just had a bad streak of win. But, it also happened a week ago with another opponent.
Now... From my understanding... "Net decking" mean that a player would copy a deck with "high win rate" on online source. I'm kind of confused if that's what it really mean. Because, I'm playing a Sheldras Moontree deck... I don't know where I would have copied that deck...
So can anyone enlighten me on what just happened with those two opponent? Does anyone else have experienced that?
It seems pretty straightforward to me. They added you and called you out on using a netdeck, presumably bc they were upset due to their presumption that you were using a netdeck. This doesn't typically happen in my experience in ranked, but I can't say I'm surprised that it happened to you.
What they’ve said. Also, thanks for posting this list. I’ve been meaning to build something similar, but don’t have Lorekeeper, so I kept putting it off.
But now I’m just gonna copy your deck and have fun.
That's not even a Netdeck you are playing, in comparison this looks at least _somewhat_ daring / creative, in ways similar like my Bridge Paladin list (All credits to the icon Trump though, mine is just a improved version of his) that is also kicking some serious azz in ladder right now, except against those pesty auto-pilote Pirate warriors.
OK here is some bad advice but whatever:
If you face a prolonged streak of back to back Vanilla list copy cat Pirate Warriors, you might want to add them and call them uncreative netdeckers, that's what I sometimes do, although I know it's totally worth and pointless, but let's face it, the Christmas nerfs were just not satisfying at all and facing the same monkey deck in ranked eventually will piss you off and make you want to quit. so yea. Take it from me, you are free to add those lazies and keep it quick and salty. Of course, not meaning to go full enraged mode and insult their mothers or anything. :D
(although that too naturally happens in a Children's card game)

i was playing a lot of bridge pally but got stuck at d6. if you draw the turn 4 bridge turn 5 derailed coaster you usually win any matchup, but without the bridge you can struggle against priates, priest and thief rogue. if you finally regain board from them they just vanish you on turn 7 and youre having to play catchup before they play their replay 5 cards thing and just lock you out.
Guess I'm also a sore looser from time to time. I mean, when you face back to back your worst match-up... it get really quick on the nerve and over the last week I did uninstall the game a couple of time ;) I just don't understand the surge to invite your last opponent to vent your anger at him. That just show there is all kind of player in that game.
Also, @FiendishKodex - Hopefully you enjoy that decklist as much I do. The potential for "highroll" are crazy... so are the potential of being screwed. Just pray the "Range-God" that you don't have both Survival of the Fittest in your opening hand. That's just instant concede.

Yup, that's why I've added some extra Odds, and added High Abbess Alura, along with two of Mailbox Dancer, to cheat out Bridge. Try it, it's damn hilarious ! :D
OK, but my general point just is, I want to play decks that are FUN and good, and not stuff like Pirate warrior (mirrors) over and over again. HS can become toxic rather quick.
Calling people out for netdecking is just a bad excuse because you are salty, People play the decks they want, and people want to win. If you take a suboptimal deck into ranked and keep losing, then it's not your opponents fault.

Totally. The funniest thing about the netdecking conversation is that somehow, good players can make sub-optimal decks and still win a lot with them. Kibler does it all the time. It's almost like the problem isn't just the decks. Dog once hit rank 1 legend with the jankiest Mecha'thun Shaman list you've ever seen.

Dudes need any reason to not accept they lost fair and square. Every deck is a net deck at some point in time.
Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you’re crap.
A .gif is worth a thousand words.

It’s almost as if there is skill involved in this game. I know this is a shocking concept for a lot of people here
People who send blind friend requests almost never want to be your friend.
Doing this to complain about the deck you choose to play, whether it's a net deck or not, is something only a child would do.
