Such a good card
I thought it was a Leper Gnome for a second.
Waterboy and Fencing Coach thrown into the trash can. This even persists across turns.
if battlecry triggered twice would this grant one or two 0 cost heropowers?
No. It is just your next Hero Power.
Powercreep Academy strikes again.
Now everyone can turn 1 hero power (potentially)
EZ masochist zoo
Kinda nice to play this to finish quest shaman quest with , 0 mana either same or next turn.
Even while a 1/1 isn't much lategame, still allows the use of 9 and 10 mana battlecries without coin,
Examples in standard would be getting 4 dragons from Dragonqueen, or 2 Zeprhys 8-mana cards.
Third time's the charm, or three strikes and you're out?
Fencing Coach was just too weak. 3-mana 2/2 wasn't very strong.
Waterboy still wasn't big enough, but being 2-mana, it never fit into Baku decks, where maybe the effect would be solid.
Tour Guide might be the first time this basic archetype works. 1-mana is really easy to squeeze into a curve. Turn 1 Paladin for 3 dudes, or Rogue to start swinging immediately. But it'll also work on any even-mana turn, if you can pair it with a 1-drop or 3-drop or such. On something like Turn 3 if you have nothing better to do than hit the button, this is still good--play it after your hero power, since this doesn't have a "this turn" limit on it.
Looks like a charm rather than a strike to me.
You tried to fit in Waterboy into Baku decks? Doesn't seem like a good idea.
But yeah, this might be the first minion with HP reduction, that might see play.
On turn 1 for Odd Paladin this is 3/3 of stats. That's.......pretty legit. For Odd this will work out. For everything else...shrug.
This and Auctionmaster Beardo can do some interesting shenanigans
Seems like most odd decks will be willing to put this into their deck.
This can work in exodiapally in wild.. Do combo in the same round with 10 mana: this card, Beardo and 3 zero cost spells.
Odd paladin gets 3 x 1/1s on T1 - seems legit
Turn 1 in Warlock. This is like Kobold Librarian with lower attack power.
This is good enough to be run in standard warlock.
The card that should have been in the grand tournament.
It was, sort of, as Fencing Coach
